A garment suspender fastener comprising a fastener element carried by the suspender, and a garment attaching member detachably secured to said fastener element, said garment attaching member including a plate attached to said fastener element, and a clasp pivotally carried thereby.

A garment suspender fastener comprising fastener element carried by the suspender, and a garment attaching member, said garment attaching member including a clasp having a 'pair of complemental jaws, a lever rotatably carried by said clasp and detachably secured to said fastener element, and means carried by said lfii'erv for urging said jaws into clamping engagement.
