l SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 251,117, dated December 20, 1881,

To all whom it 'may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. HENDER- SON, of Greenwood, in the county of Johnson and State of Indiana, have invented an Improvement in Stoves, of which the following is a specication.
The nature and object of the invention will be fully understood from the following general description and the annexed drawings.
Figure l is an outside view of the device; Fig. 2, a sectional view of thesame; Fig. 3, a view of the lire-pot.

To use this device it is placed on the pipecollar of an ordinary stove, as shown in Fig. 2. Any ordinary pot may be placed on w, and Water will be found to be nicely heated, though not boiled. This is when there is an ordinary re in the stove and the lire-pot h is not in; but in hot Weather, when an ordinary lire is not desirable, the fire-pot may be put in, as shown in Fig. 2, and fire may be kindled, of any ordinary fuel, in the fire-pot. Then any ordinary griddle cooking may be done on Iw.
