A more particular` object of myinventionzis :to provide a `device whose structural `nature, and 'surface embellishment vis `ofsuch a character ythat when theldevice islset up. it will simulate oneor more articles orothercommercial items. The invention is primarily applicabletothe `depiction of bottles :whose simulation is capable `of accomplishment byjorwardly expandinglorbulging` a normally nat element` `of sheet material.` Of course other articles than` bottlesmaybe equally well simulated. n .l Y

Out of this central portion is stamped a `tab which extends from the outer edgewofone intermediate wall horizontally to a `slit formedin the outer edge of the other and the end of the tab is formed with a tongue to engage said slit and hold the intermediate walls in their angular relation. The edges of the side walls are cut back at two points to simulate separate tiers for purposes which will appear later.

At the bottom of the main sheet and between the side walls there extends a flat sheet or strip which can be folded in a zig-zag manner and whichis connected by tongue and slit connections to the side walls at its ends and by similar means at its intermediate portion to one of the intermediate walls.

This q sheet I2 is cut back at I6 and I1 along its edges for reasons which will be obvious as the description unfolds. The central portion of the sheet I2 intermediate at top and bottom wall is also folded forwardly to form intermediate walls I8 and I9 as shown in Fig. 3, which extend forward in a converging angular relation. A lock tab 20 is out out of the sheet I2 and extends from the outer side 2| of the intermediate wall I8 toward the outer side of the intermediate wall I9 where there is cut a 'slit 22 into which a 'tongue 23 on the end of tab 20 engages to lock the parts in their proper relation. To engage the tongue and the slit it is necessary to push thewalls I8 and Y I9 into their angular relation shown in Fig. k3 and to fold the sheet I2 forwardly as lshown in the same ligure. This engagement therefore is the main lock to hold the form in its position.

An intermediate bracing and vsupporting member 25 is shown in Fig. 6 and is made up of four sections 21 foldably connected with lock tongues v28 y I4 and I5 firmly. In operation. the sheet, I2 and the forms I9 and the bracing member 25 are flat .as shown in Figs. 5, 7, and Grespectively. The sheet is folded with the. side walls vforwardly extending and with the center portion pushed also forward to formV the intermediate Walls at a middle level of the sheet. Then the tab can vbe locked in the manner `olescribed to hold the form in this position. Then the bracing member is folded zig-zag and connected at its ends and the middle as described along the lower portion of the sheet between the side walls. The forms I0 are then glued to the respective walls thus disposed to support them. When the device is to be packed for storage or shipment allthat need be done is to release the tab 20 and also themember 25 whereupon `the whole device can be pressed flat.

While the invention has been describedin detail and with respect to a present preferred form which the invention may assume, it is no1-,to be limited to such details andform since many changes and modifications may be made in the device without departing. from the spirit and scope of the invention in its broadest aspects. Hence it is desired to cover anyand all forms and `manner and disposed along the lower portion of the sheet extending between the side walls thereof and tongue and slit connections for connecting the ends of the bracing member to the side walls and its middle to one of the intermediate walls.
