A series of buttons 25 are secured to the inner side of the waist band I6, in a horizontal row, and to one side of the pocket opening 23. Against the inner side of the edge 23a a strip 26 is secured by stitching, and this strip is provided with a vertical row of buttons 21. Against th edge 23D a strip 28 is secured by stitching and this strip is provided with a vertical row of buttons 29 and a parallel row of buttons 30.
The pocket includes the side walls 33 and 34, which are connected to each other by the fold 32, and the lower edge portions of the side walls 33 and 34 are connected to each other by the stitching 32a, which extends along the side edges for a limited distance.
The upper horizontal edges of the side walls 33 and 34 are formed with button holes 39 and 38, respectively, which are adapted to engage the horizontal row of buttons 25 of the waist band I6. The side edge of the side wall 33 is provided with button holes 21a to engage button holes 2'I of the strip 26, and the side edge of the side wall 34 is provided with button holes 40 to engage the buttons of the strip 28, and button holes 4I to engage the buttons 29 of the strip 28.
