COMBINED OILER AND OIL- -BOTTLE.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, REUBEN BITTER, of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, haveinvented certain new and useful Improvements in Combined Oilers and Oil-Bottles; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it ap- Io pertains to make and use the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this s 'iecificatiou.
This invention has for its object to furnish an oiler which may also be used as a bottle in which the oil can be put up for sale.
It consists in a bottle provided with an elastic top, having a cover provided with a central flanged opening, which fits over the neck of the bottle, all of which will be hereinafter fully explained.

The bottle maybe made at very little cost, filled with oil, closed by a suitable stopper, and sold as a bottle of oil.
The purchaser can, at the time of first purchase, procure the oiler-nozzle c and nightlamp d. The device may then be used either as an oiler for machinery or for a night-lamp, as will be clearly understood by reference to the drawings.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The combination, with the bottle at, having the flexible top a and neck a, adapted to receive and hold the end of an oiler-nozzle, of the cover I), having a central opening.and flange b fitting over and around the neck (t substantially as and for the purposes set forth.
