(01. 5-03) This invention relates'to basket linings and double stitches I! and l8in spaced relation to more particularly to a lining for a baby basket the fold I 6 to provide an encasement 'for' a tie having ornamental features in conjunction with member l9. The lower end of the blank is a cover for the edges and interior of a basket hemmed, as at 20, Figs. 1 and 3, to provide an 5 on which the lining is mounted. encasement for a tie member 2| similar to the The principal objects of the present invention tie member IS. The blank I3 is folded upon securing the lining in position. It is apparent itself longitudinally substantially midway the that the outer fold 22 forms a valance on the 5 length thereof, as at I 6, and is provided with outer portion of the basket and the fold l6 forms 5,

The ends of the continuous tie member l9 at the juncture of the lining edges are then suitably united for securing the central portion of the lining about the upper inner periphery of the basket. The ends of the tie member 2| are then secured together to draw the lower body portion of the lining toward the center of the bottom of the basket to partially cover the bottom portion of the basket.
What I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
In combination with a basket including a bottom, a body member having side and end walls,
