These objects we accomplish with the device illustrated in the accompanying drawing in which similar numerals and letters of reference indicate like parts throughout the several views and as described in the specification forming a part of this application and pointed out inthe a and some appended claims.

In'the drawing we have shown the collapsible tube as A, and with the threaded discharge neck shown as 5. Onto this neck we screw our cap assembly B. ,This assembly is made with a hexagonal internally threaded base! terminating in a cylindrical discharge nozzle 8 and on one side of this cylindrical nozzle 8 we provide spaced apart brackets 8 to which the hinge ears Iliof the closure plate or cap I l of our device are hingedly mounted by a hinge pin 92. A closure spring I3 is wound around the hinge pin l2 with one end closed.

The spring is the retaining means for cap the curved portion l8 of the spring engages over the small 1ug,-shown on the drawing in the adjacent end of the cap, holding the cap, in the opened position, as shown in Figure Zoi the drawing. The cap is released by touching the release bar 19 either with the finger or any other object.
Having thusdescribed our invention we desire to secure by Letters Patent and claim:
l. A'closure for collapsibletubes comprising, an internally threaded base adapted to be screwed into the discharge neck of a collapsible tube; a smaller diametereddi'scharge nozzle on said base; a bracket formed on one side of said,
smaller nozzles" a cap having the main body formed, circular to fit over the end of' the distended and formed with ears depending from said extended side, saidlears being pivoted to.
