@Mone Qrtne principal objeta or my invention a;
anotnerobleetor my invention a to provide s device or the .have damned character which is' \simple in capable of ready replacell ment, eillcient in use, attractive in .appearance and in manufacture.
' Other objects and advantages will apparent from the following description, appended claims su mening to wnerei referrv Figure 1 is a front elevation ofa portion of a coat illustrating my invention as extending from u thepocket thereof and the appearance -of ahandkerchief. 1
Figure 2 is a front elevation of my invention.

vnali Jiilguredisai'rontelevationoi'themeansat- 1 tachable within the billfold whereby the. same may be readily removed from a pocket.
As illustrated in the drawing my combined f billfold and handkerchief-simulation comprises a 4.o' holder in the form of a billfold of the foldable `typeihavingfrontandrearsectionsand1 respectively connected together by a hinge section). The section l-is vfashioned-'with a pocket I provided with a window for viewing an identifi- -a5 catim'card. or the like contained in said pocketf The section 1 is'provided with apocket Il adjacent the free end thereof and said pocket is adapted to contain a note bookor the like. The section lis also provided with an elongated pocket fold the tab Il is secured between afolded strip M of substantially rigidmaterial, for instance l leather, vand said strip is of an'elongated coniigurationand of alength vgreaterthanthe length -of the slot II. The strip M is positioned within the pocket' 'Il and the tab la attached thereto extends outwardly-through said slot I2 and when 10 Athe :billfold isv in folded position land located within a relative deep pocket of agarment the tab extends beyond the top of said pocket whereby the billfold may bel readily extracted therefrom. Duetothestripllbeingofagreaterll length thantheslot I2 the upper faces of said strip engage theend wallsof the slot I2 and prevent the stripfrom being accidentally dislodged from the pocket Il .and withdrawn throughthe slot l2. `When the billfold is inserted within 8 20 pocket ofa garment, the tab extending above the top of the garment presents a neat and attractive appearance and simulates a handkerchief or the like extending thereabove. vThe strip il maybe inserted intothe pocket il 25 by inserting said strip endwise through the slot I! from without the billfold and positioning saidv strip within said pocket'. A sumcient portion of the tab I3 extends through saidslot to-facilitate the withdrawal of the tab therethrough to' 80 adjust to normal position.
From the foregoing itwillbe apparent that I have provided a combined billfold and handkerl chief-simulation equipped with means for facilitating the withdrawal of the device from a pocket and at the same time simulating the appearance of a handkerchief extending from said pocket when the deviceis positioned therein. Due to the construction of the strip Il, as clearly described and illustrated, said strip map b e readily changed forl others as desired in order that the tab may conform to a desired harmony in dress. What I claim is:
1. A device of the character described, com- 45 prising, a holder having front and rear sections and a hinged portion connectingl said front and rear sections together in folded relation', said hinged portion fashioned with a slot,l a holder removing member connected to one of said sec- 50 Y soil located between the open end of the pocket tions "between said sections and of a size greater Il--and the hingesection I.- Said pocket il is. provided with au Open end located in Proximity 'than said slot whereby to eii'ect engagement with toy saidbluse lectlml i 8S 4tlelllll illustrated in walls defined by said slot to preclude withdrawal v 4 or the drawing. s through said slot, and a tab connected to said l5 The section Us fashioned with-a slot I2 Imember and extending through said slot for extension above a pocket of a garment to facilitate removal of said holder from said pocket.
2. A device o! the character described, comprising. a holder having front and rear sections and a hinged portion connecting said front and rear sections together. said hinged portion iashioned with a slot, one of said sections provided with a pocket adjacent said slot andbetween said sections, a holder removing member positioned within said pocket and of a length greater than saidslot whereby to effect engagement with walls defined by said slot to preclude withdrawal through said slot, and a tab simulating av handkerchief connected to said member and extending through said slot for extension above a pocket of a garment to facilitate removal of said holder from said garment pocket.
