2. A display raak for lumber comprising an elongated rectangular horizontal floor portion, two end. walls extending upvvardly rom said fioor portion at opposite ends thereof and lying in parallel vertical planes, twospaced side walls extending upwardly from said floor portion and exteiiding between said end walls and lyng in parallel vertical planes at right angles to the fioor and end walls, a cover lying in a horizontal plane extending betvveen said side walls and from one end wall to the otner, vvhereby the fioor portion, end walls, side walls and cover form a horizontal elongated compartment for storing pieces of lumber in substantially horizontal position, said floor portion extendng laterally beyond one of said side walls to provicle a shelf-lke support extending adjacent and along the lovver portion of said compartment or supporting the lower ends of elongated pieces of lumber, the upper ends of which are supported by the upper edge of one of said side walls, said end walls extending laterally beyond one of said side walls, and an elongated retaining rail extending between said lateral eX- tensions of said end walls and lying adjacent said shelf-like support to prevent the lower ends of the pieces of lumber rom slippng o from said shelf-like support, one of said end walls being provided With a door afiording access to the compartment.

A display rack or lumloer comprsing an elongated rectangular horizontal floor portion, two end walls extending upwardly from said fioor portion at opposte ends thereof and lying in parallel vertical planes, tvvo spaced side walls extendng upwarolly from said floor portion and. extending betvveen said end walls and lyng in parallel vertical planes at rght angles to the floor and end walls, a cover lying in a horizontal plane extending between said side walls and from one end wall to the other, whereby the floor portion,
end walls, side walls and cover form a horizontal elongated compartment or storing pieces of lumloer in substantially horizontal position, said floor portion extending laterally beyond one of said side walls to provide a shelf-like support extending adjacent and along the lower porton of said compartment for supporting the lower ends of elongated pieces of lumber, the upper ends of which are supported by the upper edge of one of said side walls, said floor porton extending laterally beyond both of said side walls to provide two shel-like supports extending adjacent and along the lovver portion of said compartment or supporting the lower ends of e1ongated pieces of lumber, the upper ends of Which are supported by the upper edges of said side walls, said end walls also extending laterally beyond both of said side walls, and a pair of elongated horizontal retaining rails extenoling between said lateral extensions of said end walls and lying adjacent said shel-like supports to prevent the lower ends of the pieces of lumber from slipping off from said shelf-like supports.

A display rack for lumloer comprising an elongated rectangular horizontal fioor portion, tvvo end walls extending upvvardly from said loor portion at opposite ends thereof and lying in parallel vertical planes, two spaced side walls extending upwardly from said f1oor portion and extending betvveen said end walls and lying in parallel vertical planes at right angles to the loor and. end walls, a cover lying in a horizontal plane extending between said side walls and from one end wall to the other, whereby the floor portion, end walls, side walls and cover form a horizontal elongated compartment for storing pieces of lumber in substantially horizontal position, said fioor portion extending laterally beyond one of said side walls to provide a shel-like support extending adjacent and along the lower portion of said compartrnent :Eor supporting the lovver ends of elongated pieces of lurober, tne upper ends of which are supported by the upper edge of one of said side walls, said end walls extending laterally beyond one of said side walls, an el ongatecl retaining rail extending oetween said lateral extensions of said end walls and lying adjacent said shel-like support to prevent the lower ends of the pieces of lumber rorn slipping off from said shelflike support, and a plurality of horizontal separator bars lying substantially in the same hori zontal plane a substantial distance above said shel-like support and extenoling parallel to each other and transversely with respect to the sheltlike support for separating the different kinds of pieces of lurnber rom each other.

A display rack or lumber comprising an elongated rectangular horizontal floor portion, two end walls extending upwardly trom said loor portion at opposite ends thereof and lying in parallel vertical planes, tvvo spacecl side walls extending upwardly rom said floor portion and extending between said end walls and lying in parallel vertical planes at right angles to the fioor and end walls, a cover lyng in a horizontal plane extending between said side walls and from one end wall to the other, whereby the floor portion, end walls, side walls and cover form a horizontal elongated compartment or storing pieces of lumber in substantially horizontal position, said loor portion extending laterally beyond one of said side walls to provide a shelflike support extending adjacent and along. the lower portion of said compartment or supporiing the lower ends of elongatecl peces of lumber, the upper ends of which are supported oy the upper edge of one of said side walls, said end walls extending laterally beyond one of said side walls, an elongated retaining rail extending oetvveen said lateral extensions of said end walls and lying adjacent said shelflike support to prevent the lower ends of the pieces of lumoer from slipping of rom said shel-like support, said side walls and end walls extending above said cover, and partitions extending between said side wall extensions to provide a plurality of open top compartments above said cover.
