Relatively oscillatory individual brush holders, each conveniently formed of sheet metal pressed to form a channel, are pivotally connected with said panel cover near their lower ends,y so that they fit in and normally respectively close said parallel openings; each of said holders having individual spring means for stressing it to effect such closure.

My invention includes the various novel features of construction and arrangement hereinafter more definitely specified.

I do not desire to limit myself to the precise details of construction and arrangement herein set forth, as it is obvious that various modications may be made therein without departing from the essential features of my invention, as defined in the appended claims.

I claim:

1. In a toothbrush cabinet; an inclosure for a substantially secluded atmosphere, formed oi two normally rigidly connected members which may be readily disconnected to be separately washed; including a brush container formed or ceramic material, and a front metallic cover panel for said container, having a plurality of openings for individual brush holders; means for rigidly but detachably connecting said two members; relaindividual brush holders respectively iltted in said openings; means pivotally connecting said holders with said cover panel; and spring means for individually stressing said holders for normally closing said openings and holding the brushes in said atmosphere.

2. A structure as in claim l, wherein each brush holder has opposite side shields for the brush papillae and guide prongs for the brush handle; whereby the brushes are held in separated position in said atmosphere.

In a' toothbrush cabinet, a brush container, formed oi glass, having a rear wall with a continuous edge wall surrounding a cavity extending below a lip near the lower end thereof said lip, in cooperation with said rear wall and edge wall of said container, forming a pocket for disinfectant; said container .having at the upper end of said cavity an inwardly projecting lug for detachably securing a cover panel over said cavity; a metallic cover panel, tor the cavity in said container, having at the lower end thereof a flange iltted to extend downwardly in said cavity behind said lip and having at the upper end thereof a spring pressed catch, for engagement with said inwardly projecting lug of said container, to retain said cover panel in detachable engagement with said container; said cover panel having a plurality of brush holder openings extending in parallel relation from near the bottom thereof to near the top thereof; individual, relatively movable, brush holders respectively tted in said parallel openings; hinge means, near the lower ends oi said holders, independently pivotally connecting said individual holders with said cover panel; individual spring means respectively stressing said individual holders for normally maintaining them in upright position, closed against the outer face of said cover panel; and means at the upper end of each of said holders for manual engagement; whereby said holders may be independently swung outwardly and downwardly to insert or remove brushes; whereby a plurality of brushes may be normally individually separately supported in a secluded and substantially conilned disinfectant atmosphere.

4. An individual toothbrush holder, formed of sheet metal, pressed to form a channel, having, at one end opposite parallel side shields for the brush papillae, and having opposite side prongs limiting the lateral movement of the brush handle in said channel; hinge means, extending transversely in each of said shields. for pivotally supporting said holder in an opening in a cabinet; and spring means, iltted in said channel, for stressing said holder to normally close said opening, with the brush within said cabinet.
