Abstract

The new robe is a comfortable one piece garment that allows for additional modesty when walking, sitting or performing a task.

Description

  • This patent application claims priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 63/178,457 filed on Apr. 22, 2021, which is incorporated by reference herein, in its entirety.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE SYSTEM
  • The subject matter described herein relates to a robe which includes bottoms allowing for additional coverage and modesty while sitting or performing tasks, while being both comfortable and stylish.
  • Millions of people wear robes in the comfort of their own home. However, with the traditional robe, just the act of walking runs the risk of becoming loose and opening up, revealing everything beneath the robe. By including a comfortable closed bottom as a part of the robe, a person may walk and perform basic tasks without risking exposing everything if the robe becomes loose.
  • SUMMARY
  • The new robe is a comfortable one piece garment that allows for additional modesty when walking, sitting or performing a task.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a rear view of the robe.
  • FIG. 2 is a front view of the robe.
  • FIG. 3 is a front inner view of one embodiment of the attached bottoms of the robe.
  • FIG. 4 is a front inner view of one embodiment of the attached bottoms of the robe.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM
  • The system provides an apparatus consisting of a robe with attached bottoms. The system is described herein.
  • As seen in FIG. 1 , in one embodiment of the combination robe, the external appearance of the combination robe is similar to a standard robe, where ties 102 are tied together to keep front wrap 103 over front wrap 104. A hood 105 is attached to external robe 101.
  • As seen in FIG. 2 , in one embodiment of the combination robe, elasticated cinch waistband 202 allows combination robe 201 to comfortably adjust to the wearer's body.
  • As seen in FIG. 3 , in one embodiment of the combination robe, shorts 302 are attached to external robe 301 at side seam 303 and side seam 304. Shorts 302 may be attached at side seam 303 and side seam 304 via stitching, adhesives, zippers, or any other fastener known in the art. Drawstrings 305 are tied internally in order to keep external robe 301 wrapped in place. External robe 301 may also have a side pocket 306.
  • As seen in FIG. 4 , in another embodiment of the combination robe, shorts 402 are attached to external robe 401 at side seam 403 and elasticated waistband 404. Shorts 402 may be attached at side seam 403 via stitching, adhesives, zippers, or any other fastener known in the art. Shorts 402 may be attached at elasticated waistband 404 via stitching, adhesives, zippers, or any other fastener known in the art. Elasticated waistband 404 allows shorts 402 and external robe 401 to be easily worn in a comfortable manner. External robe 401 may also have a side pocket 405.
  • In another embodiment, a pair of rompers is affixed to the back of a robe at the waist or the hips, creating a combination romper robe that is one piece. In other embodiments, long sweatpants or any other bottoms may be affixed to the robe instead of a romper. In other embodiments the closed bottoms may be affixed to the sides of the robe. The user may then wear the romper or other bottoms in the traditional fashion and then wrap the robe around their body in the traditional fashion before securing the robe with a traditional belt, string or buttons. In another embodiment, the robe is secured with a drawstring in the front.
  • In one embodiment, the sleeves of the robe are bishop sleeves, which provide the added benefit of preventing the sleeve from rolling up when doing everyday tasks such as applying make-up or doing household chores. In another embodiment the sleeves of the robe are cap sleeves or another kind of short sleeve.
  • In one embodiment, the robe also has an attached hood which may be worn. In another embodiment, the robe does not have a hood. In a third embodiment, the robe has a hood which can be detached from the robe.
  • The above preferred embodiments of the system are examples, and the system is not limited to the disclosed preferred embodiments.
  • Thus, a combination robe has been described.
