The invention may be carried out in other specific ways than that herein set forth without departing from the spirit and essential characteristics of the invention, and the present embodiment is therefore to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive, and all changes coming within the meaning and equivalency range of the appended claims are intended to be embraced therein.
I claim:
1. A substantially-cup-shaped carrier for lipstick holders and the like having one end open and its opposite end provided with an end-wall, and having a perforation in its side-wall and having a tongue bent up from its said end-wall and extending toward the open end of the carrier and provided with a bearing in substantiallylateral registration with the perforation in the side-wall of the carrier; and an actuating-pin inserted in the perforation of the side-wall of the carrier and engaging the bearing in the said tongue and projecting beyond the outer surface of the carrier.
2. A substantially-cup-shaped carrier for lipstick holders and the like having one end open and its opposite end provided with an end-wall, and having a perforation in its side-wall and having a tongue bent up from its said end-wall and extending toward the open end of the'carrier and provided with a perforation in substantial lateral registration with the perforation in the side-wall of the carrier; and an actuating-pin inserted in the perforations in the side-wall and in the said tongue of the carrier, and projecting beyond the outer surface of the side-wall thereof.
3. A substantial1y-cup-shaped carrier for lipstick holders and the like having one end open and its opposite end provided with an end-wall, and having a perforation in its side-wall and having a tongue bent up from its said end-wall and extending toward the open end of the carrier, the said tongue being provided with a bearing in substantial lateral registration with the perforation in the side-wall of the carrier; and an actuating-pin inserted in the perforation in the sidewal1 of the carrier and engaging with the bearing in the said tongue of the carrier, and having an enlarged head-portion projecting beyond the outer surface of the said side-wall.

A substantially-cup-shaped carrier for liostick holders and the like having one end open and its opposite end provided with an end-wall, and having a perforation in its side-wall and having a tongue bent up from its said end-wall 5 and extending toward the open end of the carrier, the said tongue being provided with a bearing in substantial lateral registration with the perforation in the side-wall of the carrier; and an actuating-pin inserted in the perforation of the side-wall of the carrier and engaging the bearing in the said tongue, and projecting beyond the outer surface of the carrier; the said tongue bent up from the end-wall of the said carrier extending above the said actuating-pin, and providing an anchor for engagement with a'lipstick or the like 5. A substantially-cup-shaped carrier for lipstick holders or the like having one end open and its opposite end provided with an end-wall, and having its side-wall inset and pierced to form a bearing-opening, and having a tongue bent up from its said end-wall and extending toward the open end of the carrier, the said tongue being provided with a bearing in substantial lateral registration with the perforation in the sidewall of the carrier; and an actuating-pin inserted in the perforation in the side-wall of the carrier and engaging with the bearing in the tongue thereof, and provided with a head-portion projecting outwardly from the said inset-portion of the side-wall of the carrier.
6. A substantially-cup-shaped carrier for lipstick holders or the like having one end open and its opposite end provided with an end-wall,
and having its side-wall inset and pierced to form a bearing-opening, and having a tongue bent up from its said end-wall and extending toward the open end of the carrier, the said tongue being provided with a perforation in substantial lateral registration with the perforation in the side-wall of the carrier; and an actuating-pin inserted in the perforations respectively formed in the sidewall and in the tongue of the said carrier and projecting outwardly from the said inset-portion of the side-wall of the carrier.
