Disclosed herein is a cover module, including: a cover covering an impeller connected to a rotating shaft; a housing receiving a driving module coupled with the cover and including the rotating shaft; and a coupling member coupling the cover with the housing, wherein the cover is provided with a coupling part in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, the housing is provided with a coupling part corresponding to the coupling part of the cover in the axial direction of the rotating shaft, and the coupling member is fixed to the coupling part of the cover and the coupling part of the housing.

Description

    CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
  • This application claims the benefit of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2013-0034391, filed on Mar. 29, 2013, entitled “Cover Module And Electric Blower Having The Same” which is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety into this application.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Technical Field
  • The present invention relates to a cover module and an electric blower having the same.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • In general, a cover module of an electric blower for a vacuum cleaner is configured to include an impeller cover covering an impeller, a front, and a housing receiving a driving module.
  • Further, the electric blower according to the related art disclosed in the following Patent Document may be difficult to implement a coaxial assembly of the front and the impeller cover, may not be implemented as a small and light type due to a coupling structure of the impeller cover and the housing, and may have reduced durability and rigidity.

  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention has been made in an effort to provide a rotation module and an electric blower having the same which can be implemented as a small and light type and have improved assembly strength and durability by disposing an outer circumferential surface of a cover and an outer circumferential surface of a housing on a single surface by coupling the cover and the housing with each other in an axial direction of a rotating shaft by a fixing member and can be miniaturized by optimally utilizing a space by making a coupling part of the housing protrude inwardly toward a space part coupled with a stator core.
  • Further, the present invention has been made in an effort to provide a rotation module and an electric blower having the same which can be more efficiently assembled to and have improved adhesion by forming an assembly guide part in a cover, a front, and a housing.
  • According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a cover module, including: a cover covering an impeller connected to a rotating shaft; a housing receiving a driving module coupled with the cover and including the rotating shaft; and a coupling member coupling the cover with the housing, wherein the cover is provided with a coupling part in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, the housing is provided with a coupling part corresponding to the coupling part of the cover in the axial direction of the rotating shaft, and the coupling member is fixed to the coupling part of the cover and the coupling part of the housing.
  • The coupling part of the cover may be formed as a coupling hole, the coupling part of the housing may be formed as a coupling groove, and the coupling member may be inserted into the coupling hole of the cover and may be coupled with the coupling groove of the housing.
  • The cover may be further provided with an assembly guide part formed as a projection or a groove and the coupling part of the housing may be further provided with an assembly guide part formed as a groove or a projection corresponding to the assembly guide part of the cover.
  • The coupling part of the housing may be further provided with a front coupling groove and a front assembly guide part and the front coupled with the housing may be provided with a coupling hole corresponding to the front coupling groove of the housing and a guide projection corresponding to the front assembly guide part.
  • The coupling part of the housing may be formed to protrude axially toward the cover and protrude to an inside of the housing.
  • The inside of the housing may be inserted with a stator core and a non-protruding region other than the coupling part in the housing may be provided with a stator core coupling part.
  • The cover module may further include: a coupling member coupled with the stator core coupling part, wherein the coupling member supports an upper end of the stator core.
  • An inner circumferential surface of the housing may be inserted with a part of the stator core and may be further provided with a stator core insertion supporting groove to which a lower end of a part of the stator core is supported.
  • According to another preferred embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an electric blower, including: an impeller provided with a blade to absorb external air; a diffuser guiding the external air introduced by the impeller; a cover covering the impeller and the diffuser; a driving module including a rotating shaft coupled with the impeller; a front inserted with a bearing rotatably supporting the rotating shaft; and a housing receiving the driving module and coupled with the cover, wherein the cover is provided with a coupling part in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, the housing is provided with a coupling part corresponding to the coupling part of the cover in the axial direction of the rotating shaft, and the coupling member is fixed to the coupling part of the cover and the coupling part of the housing.
  • The driving module may include: a rotating shaft connected to the impeller and rotating the impeller; a magnet coupled with an outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft; an armature facing the magnet and formed of a stator core and a coil; and a bearing rotatably supporting the rotating shaft.
  • The electric blower may further include: a coupling member coupled with the stator core coupling part formed at an inside of the housing and supporting an upper end of the stator core
  • The stator core may be provided with a coupling protrusion, and an inner circumferential surface of the housing may be inserted with a part of the stator core and may be further provided with a stator core insertion supporting groove to which a lower end of a part of the stator core is supported.
  • The coupling part of the cover may be formed as a coupling hole, the coupling part of the housing may be formed as a coupling groove, and the coupling member may be inserted into the coupling hole of the cover and may be coupled with the coupling groove of the housing.
  • The cover may be further provided with an assembly guide part formed as a projection or a groove and the coupling part of the housing may be further provided with an assembly guide part formed as a groove or a projection corresponding to the assembly guide part of the cover.
  • The coupling part of the housing may be further provided with a front coupling groove and a front assembly guide part and the front may be provided with a coupling hole corresponding to the front coupling groove of the housing and a guide projection corresponding to the front assembly guide part.
  • The coupling part of the housing may be formed to protrude axially toward the cover and protrude to an inside of the housing.

Throughout the accompanying drawings, the same reference numerals are used to designate the same or similar components, and redundant descriptions thereof are omitted. Further, in the following description, the terms “first,” “second,” “one side,” “the other side” and the like are used to differentiate a certain component from other components, but the configuration of such components should not be construed to be limited by the terms. Further, in the description of the present invention, when it is determined that the detailed description of the related art would obscure the gist of the present invention, the description thereof will be omitted.
  • Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view schematically illustrating a cover module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a schematic exploded cross-sectional view of the cover module illustrated in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a plan view schematically illustrating a housing and a stator core in the cover module illustrated in FIG. 1.
  • As illustrated, the cover module 100, which is a cover module for an electric blower, includes a cover 110, a housing 120, a coupling member, and a front 130 and a stator core 140 which are coupled with each other.
  • The cover 110 covers an impeller (not illustrated) and a diffuser (not illustrated) so as to make the impeller and the diffuser connected to a rotating shaft be received therein and is coupled with the housing 120.
  • To this end, the cover 110 is provided with an inflow hole 111 in which external air flows and is provided with a coupling part, that is, a coupling hole 112 in an axial direction of a rotation shaft (not illustrated) coupled with the impeller (not illustrated).
  • Further, the coupling hole 112, which fixes the cover 110 to the housing 120, is inserted with a coupling member 151 and the coupling member 151 is fixedly coupled with the housing 120 to fixedly couple the cover 110 with the housing. To this end, the coupling hole 112 may also be provided with a screw coupling part.
  • Further, the cover 110 may be provided with an assembly guide part (not illustrated) for fixing at a predetermined position when being coupled with the housing 120. The assembly guide part may be formed in a projection or a groove and the housing 120 may be formed with a groove or a projection corresponding to the assembly guide part of the cover 110. That is, when the cover is fixedly coupled with the housing, the cover and the housing are fixedly coupled with each other at a position at which the cover and the housing are primarily fixed to each other by the assembly guide part of the cover and the housing and the cover 110 and the housing 120 are secondarily coupled with each other by the coupling member 151, thereby more facilitating the process and implementing the assembly process without defects or errors.
  • Next, the housing 120 has the driving module (not illustrated) rotating the impeller received therein and is coupled with the cover 110. To this end, the housing 120 has a size and a shape corresponding to the cover 110.
  • In more detail, the housing 120 is provided with the coupling part facing the cover and the coupling part is provided with a cover coupling groove 121, a cover assembly guide groove 122, a front coupling groove 123, and a front assembly guide groove 124.
  • Further, the cover coupling groove 121 corresponds to the coupling hole 112 formed in the cover and when the coupling member 151 is formed as a screw coupling member, the cover coupling groove 121 is formed as a screw coupling groove.
  • Further, the cover assembly guide groove 122, which is the assembly guide part, guides the coupling position at the time of assembling the cover and FIG. 2 illustrates that as the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the cover 110 is provided with a guide projection (not illustrated) and the housing is provided with the cover assembly guide groove 122 corresponding thereto.
  • Further, as described above, the housing according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention may be provided with the cover assembly guide projection instead of the cover assembly guide groove and the cover may be provided with the assembly guide groove corresponding to the cover assembly guide projection.
  • Further, the front coupling groove 123 is to fixedly couple the front 130 to be described below and is formed to correspond to the coupling hole 131 formed at the front 130. In addition, when the coupling member 152 coupling the front with the housing is formed as the screw coupling member, the front coupling groove 123 may be formed as the screw coupling groove.
  • Further, the front assembly guide groove 124 is formed to correspond to the assembly guide part 132 formed at the front 130 to be described below and is to guide the coupling position at the time of the assembly coupling of the front 130 and the housing 120. To this end, the front 130 is provided with the assembly guide part 132 and the housing may be provided with the front assembly guide groove 124 corresponding thereto.
  • Further, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the coupling part of the housing 120 may be formed to protrude axially, the stator core 140 may be inserted into a non-protruding region other than the coupling part and the upper end thereof may be fixedly support to the coupling member 153.
  • Further, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the coupling part of the housing 120 may protrude inwardly in an orthogonal direction to the shaft. In this case, the coupling part of the housing 120 protrudes inwardly toward the space part which is not interfered at the time of the coupling of the stator core, such that the coupling part may secure a sufficient thickness, thereby forming the cover coupling groove 121, the cover assembly guide groove 122, the front coupling groove 123, and the front assembly guide groove 124.
  • Further, the housing 120 may be further provided with the stator core coupling part 125 for fixing the stator core. Further, the stator core coupling part 125 may be formed as the screw coupling groove when the coupling member fixing the stator core 140 to the housing is formed as the screw coupling member 153.
  • Further, the housing 120 may be further provided with a stator core insertion supporting groove 126 having a part of the stator core 140 inserted thereinto and supporting a lower portion of a part of the stator core 140.
  • Further, the stator core insertion supporting groove 126 is formed in an inner diameter part of the housing to extend axially from the upper end thereof. Further, the stator core 140 is provided with a coupling protrusion 141 corresponding to the stator core insertion supporting groove 126.
  • Therefore, the stator core 140 coupled with the housing 120 has the lower end supported by the stator core insertion supporting groove 126 of the housing, limits the movement in a circumferential direction, and has the upper end fixedly supported by the coupling member 152.
  • As described above, the front 130 is provided with the front coupling groove 123 and the assembly guide protrusion 132 to be fixedly coupled with the housing 120 of the cover module 100 according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
  • Further, the assembly guide part 132 is formed to correspond to the front coupling groove 123 formed in the housing 120 and the assembly guide protrusion 132 is formed to correspond to the front assembly guide groove formed in the housing 120.
  • By the above-mentioned configuration, the cover module 100 according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention may be implemented as a small and light type and have the improved assembly strength and durability by disposing an outer circumferential surface of the cover 110 and an outer circumferential surface of the housing 120 on a single surface by coupling the cover 110 and the housing 120 with each other in an axial direction of a rotating shaft by a fixing member and can be miniaturized by optimally utilizing a space by making a coupling part of the housing protrude inwardly toward a space part coupled with a stator core, as illustrated in FIG. 3.
  • Further, the cover module 100 according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention may be more efficiently assembled and have the improved adhesion by forming the assembly guide part in the cover, the front, and the housing.
  • FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating an electric blower having the cover module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. As illustrated, the electric blower 200 includes a cover 210, a housing 220, a front 230, a driving module 240, a coupling member 250, an impeller 260, and a diffuser 270.
  • In more detail, the impeller 260, which is connected to the driving module 240 to absorb external air, is provided with a blade 261 for movement of air.
  • Further, the diffuser 270, which is to guide the external air introduced by the impeller 260, is disposed to face the impeller.
  • Further, the cover 210 covers the impeller 260 and the diffuser 270 and is coupled with the housing 220.
  • Further, the housing 220 receives the driving module 240 including a rotating shaft 241 coupled with the impeller 260 to drive the impeller 260 and is formed in a cylindrical shape.
  • Further, the cover 210 and the housing 220 illustrated in FIG. 4 are the same as the cover and the housing of the cover module illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, and therefore the repeated detailed shape and coupling relationship thereof will be partially omitted.
  • As illustrated, the cover 210 is provided with a coupling hole 211 and the housing 220 is provided with a cover coupling groove 221 corresponding to the coupling hole 211. Further, a coupling member 271 is inserted into the coupling hole 211 of the cover 210 and is fastened with the cover coupling groove 221 of the housing 220 to couple the cover 210 with the housing 220.
  • Next, the front 230 is inserted with a bearing 245 of the driving module 240 to be described below and is the same as the front 230 illustrated in FIG. 2, and therefore, the repeated detailed shape and coupling relationship thereof will be omitted.
  • Next, the driving module 240 is connected to the impeller 210 to rotate the impeller 210 and includes a rotating shaft 241, a magnet 242, an armature 244, and bearings 245 a and 245 b.
  • In more detail, the rotating shaft 241 is coupled with the impeller 210 and the impeller 210 rotates together with the rotation of the rotating shaft 241, such that the external air is absorbed by the rotation of the impeller.
  • Further, the magnet 242, which generates an electromagnetic force to drive the rotating shaft together with the armature 244, is coupled with an outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft 241.
  • Further, the armature 244 is formed of the stator core and the coir and is coupled with the motor housing 220 to face the magnet 242.
  • Further, as illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the stator core of the armature is inserted into the housing and the upper end thereof is fixedly supported by the coupling member 250.
  • Further, the bearing 245 rotatably supports the rotating shaft 241 and is formed of the upper bearing 245 a and the lower bearing 245 b to be coupled with one side portion and the other side portion of the rotating shaft 241, that is, the upper portion and the lower portion thereof, respectively. Further, the upper bearing 245 a is inserted into the front 230.
  • Further, the driving module 240 of the electric blower 200 may further include a magnet holder 243 receiving the magnet 242.
  • By the above-mentioned configuration, the electric blower 200 having the cover module according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention can be implemented as a small and light type and have the improved assembly strength and durability by disposing an outer circumferential surface of the cover 210 and an outer circumferential surface of the housing 220 on a single surface by coupling the cover 210 and the housing 220 with each other in an axial direction of the rotating shaft by the fixing member 271.
  • As set forth above, according to the preferred embodiments of the present invention, the rotation module and the electric blower having the same can be implemented as the small and light type and have the improved assembly strength and durability by disposing the outer circumferential surface of the cover and the outer circumferential surface of the housing on the single surface by coupling the cover and the housing with each other in an axial direction of the rotating shaft by the fixing member and can be miniaturized by optimally utilizing the space by making the coupling part of the housing protrude inwardly toward the space part coupled with the stator core, and can be more efficiently assembled and have the improved adhesion by forming the assembly guide part in the cover, the front, and the housing.
  • Although the embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, it will be appreciated that the present invention is not limited thereto, and those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention.
  • Accordingly, any and all modifications, variations or equivalent arrangements should be considered to be within the scope of the invention, and the detailed scope of the invention will be disclosed by the accompanying claims.

Claims (16)

What is claimed is:
1. A cover module, comprising:
a cover covering an impeller connected to a rotating shaft;
a housing receiving a driving module coupled with the cover and including the rotating shaft; and
a coupling member coupling the cover with the housing,
wherein the cover is provided with a coupling part in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, the housing is provided with a coupling part corresponding to the coupling part of the cover in the axial direction of the rotating shaft, and the coupling member is fixed to the coupling part of the cover and the coupling part of the housing.
2. The cover module as set forth in claim 1, wherein the coupling part of the cover is formed as a coupling hole, the coupling part of the housing is formed as a coupling groove, and the coupling member is inserted into the coupling hole of the cover and is coupled with the coupling groove of the housing.
3. The cover module as set forth in claim 1, wherein the cover is further provided with an assembly guide part formed as a projection or a groove and the coupling part of the housing is further provided with an assembly guide part formed as a groove or a projection corresponding to the assembly guide part of the cover.
4. The cover module as set forth in claim 1, wherein the coupling part of the housing is further provided with a front coupling groove and a front assembly guide part and the front coupled with the housing is provided with a coupling hole corresponding to the front coupling groove of the housing and a guide projection corresponding to the front assembly guide part.
5. The cover module as set forth in claim 1, wherein the coupling part of the housing is formed to protrude axially toward the cover and protrude to an inside of the housing.
6. The cover module as set forth in claim 5, wherein the inside of the housing is inserted with a stator core, and
a non-protruding region other than the coupling part in the housing is provided with a stator core coupling part.
7. The cover module as set forth in claim 6, further comprising:
a coupling member coupled with the stator core coupling part,
wherein the coupling member supports an upper end of the stator core.
8. The cover module as set forth in claim 6, wherein an inner circumferential surface of the housing is inserted with a part of the stator core and is further provided with a stator core insertion supporting groove to which a lower end of a part of the stator core is supported.
9. An electric blower, comprising:
an impeller provided with a blade to absorb external air;
a diffuser guiding the external air introduced by the impeller;
a cover covering the impeller and the diffuser;
a driving module including a rotating shaft coupled with the impeller;
a front inserted with a bearing rotatably supporting the rotating shaft; and
a housing receiving the driving module and coupled with the cover, wherein the cover is provided with a coupling part in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, the housing is provided with a coupling part corresponding to the coupling part of the cover in the axial direction of the rotating shaft, and the coupling member is fixed to the coupling part of the cover and the coupling part of the housing.
10. The electric blower as set forth in claim 9, wherein the driving module includes:
a rotating shaft connected to the impeller and rotating the impeller;
a magnet coupled with an outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft;
an armature facing the magnet and formed of a stator core and a coil; and
a bearing rotatably supporting the rotating shaft.
11. The electric blower as set forth in claim 9, further comprising:
a coupling member coupled with the stator core coupling part formed at an inside of the housing and supporting an upper end of the stator core.
12. The electric blower as set forth in claim 9, wherein the stator core is provided with a coupling protrusion, and
an inner circumferential surface of the housing is inserted with the coupling protrusion of the stator core and is further provided with a stator core insertion supporting groove to which a lower end of the coupling protrusion is supported.
13. The electric blower as set forth in claim 9, wherein the coupling part of the cover is formed as a coupling hole, the coupling part of the housing is formed as a coupling groove, the coupling member is inserted into the coupling hole of the cover and is coupled with the coupling groove of the housing.
14. The electric blower as set forth in claim 9, wherein the cover is further provided with an assembly guide part formed as a projection or a groove and the coupling part of the housing is further provided with an assembly guide part formed as a groove or a projection corresponding to the assembly guide part of the cover.
15. The electric blower as set forth in claim 9, wherein the coupling part of the housing is further provided with a front coupling groove and a front assembly guide part, the front is provided with a coupling hole corresponding to the front coupling groove of the housing and a guide projection corresponding to the front assembly guide part.
16. The electric blower as set forth in claim 9, wherein the coupling part of the to housing is formed to protrude axially toward the cover and protrude to an inside of the housing.
