An electronic cigarette is provided, comprising: a battery sleeve, an outer tube, an internal threaded sleeve, an external threaded sleeve and an upper electrode; the upper electrode defining a first through hole therein, the external threaded sleeve defines a second through hole therein, the internal threaded sleeve includes a barrel and a ring step formed relative to a periphery of barrel, the ring step includes an upper end surface and a lower end surface, the upper end surface is a wave-shaped end surface, the lower end surface resists and is connected with the battery sleeve, an air admission passage is formed at a point between the upper end surface and the external threaded sleeve, and the air admission passage, the second through hole and the first through hole form an air flow loop. Thus the threaded copper component does not form sharp angles and is prevented from hurting users' bodies.

Description

    CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application is a continuation of International Patent Application No. PCT/CN2013/073199, with an international filing date of Mar. 26, 2013, designating the United States, now pending. The contents of these specifications are incorporated herein by reference.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to the field of electrical heating products technology, and more particularly, relates to an electronic cigarette.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Because domestic publicity of anti-smoking and the people's awareness of health are enhanced, electronic cigarettes, which serve as the substitute of traditional tobacco, have been more and more widely used. An existing electronic cigarette is generally comprised of a cigarette rod and a cigarette holder fixed together. The cigarette rod includes a battery received therein, the cigarette holder includes an atomization device received therein, and the atomization device is electrically connected to the cigarette rod. The cigarette holder further includes an oil cup therein received for accommodating tobacco juice. When a user starts to smoke via the cigarette holder, the tobacco juice flows into the atomization device slowly, and an atomization wire of the atomizer absorbs the tobacco juice. A control circuit board detects electric current and controls a heating device positioned adjacent to the atomization wire to atomize the tobacco juice and generate smoke, and the smoke flows through a suction nozzle cover and is inhaled by the user.
  • An existing electronic cigarette includes a slotted threaded copper component or a slotted cap configured for air admission, however, the slot of the threaded copper component or the cap may form sharp angles, which may hurt users.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The Objective of the present invention is to provide an electronic cigarette which does not form sharp angles and is preventing from hurting users' bodies, since the end surface of the internal threaded sleeve or battery sleeve is designed to a wave-shaped end surface, and an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the wave-shaped end surface and other fiat surfaces, aiming at the above-mentioned drawbacks of forming sharp angle and hurting users because of a slotted threaded copper component or a slotted cap.
  • The technical solutions of the present invention for solving the technical problems are as follows:
  • An electronic cigarette is provided, which comprises a battery sleeve, an outer tube, an internal threaded sleeve, an external threaded sleeve and an upper electrode fixed inside the external threaded sleeve; the upper electrode defining a first through hole therein, the external threaded sleeve defines a second through hole therein, the internal threaded sleeve includes a barrel and a ring step formed relative to a periphery of the barrel and extending radially from one end surface of the barrel, the ring step includes an upper end surface and a lower end surface, the upper end surface is a wave-shaped end surface, the barrel is sleeved in the battery sleeve, the lower end surface resists and is connected with the battery sleeve, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the upper end surface and the external threaded sleeve, and the air admission passage, the second through hole and the first through hole form an air flow loop.
  • Advantageously, the external threaded sleeve includes a body and a connection department, the connection department forms an external thread, and the second through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the circular groove formed between the body and the connection department.
  • Advantageously, the body of the external threaded sleeve resists and is connected with the upper end surface of the internal threaded sleeve.
  • Advantageously, an inner wall of the barrel forms an internal thread, and the internal thread engages with the outer thread.
  • Advantageously, a distance between each wave peak of the wave-shaped end surface and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface that is adjacent to the wave peak is ranged from 0.1 mm to 1 mm.
  • Advantageously, the body, the connection department and the circular groove are integrally formed.
  • An electronic cigarette is provided, which comprises a battery sleeve, an outer tube, an internal threaded sleeve, an external threaded sleeve and an upper electrode fixed inside the external threaded sleeve, the upper electrode defining a first through hole therein, the external threaded sleeve defines a second through hole therein, the internal threaded sleeve includes a barrel and a ring step formed relative to a periphery of the barrel and extending radially from one end surface of the barrel, the barrel defines at least one third through hole extending along an axial direction of the barrel near the ring step, the ring step includes an upper end surface and a lower end surface, the lower end surface is wave-shaped end surface, the barrel is sleeved in the battery sleeve, the upper end surface resists and is connected with the outer threaded sleeve, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the lower end surface and the battery sleeve, and the air admission passage, the third through hole, the second through hole and the first through hole form an air flow loop.
  • Advantageously, a groove is defined between the barrel and the ring step, and the third through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the groove.
  • Advantageously, the external threaded sleeve includes a body and a connection department, the connection department forms an external thread, the second through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the circular groove formed between the body and the connection department.
  • Advantageously, the upper end surface resists and is connected with the body of the external thread sleeve.
  • Advantageously, an inner wall of the barrel forms an internal thread, the internal thread engages with the outer thread.
  • Advantageously, a distance between each wave peak of the wave-shaped end surface and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface that is adjacent to the wave peak is ranged from 0.1 mm to 1 mm.
  • Advantageously, the body, the connection department and the circular groove are integrally formed.
  • An electronic cigarette is provided, which comprises a battery sleeve, an outer tube, an internal threaded sleeve, an external threaded sleeve and an upper electrode fixed inside the external threaded sleeve, the upper electrode defining a first through hole therein, the external threaded sleeve defines a second through hole, the internal threaded sleeve includes a barrel and a ring step formed relative to a periphery of the barrel and extending radially from one end surface of the barrel, the barrel defines at least one third through hole extending along an axial direction of the barrel near the ring step, one end surface of the battery sleeve that is positioned near the outer sleeve is wave-shaped end surface, the barrel is sleeved in the battery sleeve, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the battery sleeve with a wave-shaped end surface and the ring step, and the air admission passage, the third through hole, the second through hole and the first through hole form an air flow loop.
  • Advantageously, a groove is defined between the barrel and the ring step, and the third through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the groove.
  • Advantageously, the external threaded sleeve includes a body and a connection department, the connection department forms an external thread, the second through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the circular groove formed between the body and the connection department.
  • Advantageously, the ring step resists and is connected with the body of the external thread sleeve.
  • Advantageously, an inner wall of the barrel forms an internal thread, the internal thread engages with the outer thread.
  • Advantageously, a distance between each wave peak of the wave-shaped end surface and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface that is adjacent to the wave peak is ranged from 0.1 mm to 1 mm.
  • Advantageously, the body, the connection department and the circular groove are integrally formed.
  • When implementing the electronic cigarette of the present invention, the following advantageous effects can be achieved: since the end surface of the internal threaded sleeve or the end surface of the battery sleeve is designed to a wave-shaped end surface, and an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the wave-shaped end surface and other flat surfaces. Thus air enters the electronic cigarette via the air admission passage, and smoke generated in the electronic cigarette is carried to the nozzle cap for smoking. The present invention designs the wave-shaped end surface cleverly, and thereby the threaded copper component is avoided from being slotted. Thus the threaded copper component does not form sharp angles and is prevented from hurting users bodies. Furthermore, air flows generated by the electronic cigarette are uniform, and the shape of the electronic cigarette is beautiful.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • To make the technical feature, objective and effect of the present invention be understood more clearly, now the specific implementation of the present invention is described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments.
  • Embodiment 1
  • As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, an electronic cigarette of a first embodiment of the present invention comprises a battery sleeve 10, an outer tube 20, an internal threaded sleeve 40, an external threaded sleeve 30, and an upper electrode 50. Wherein, the upper electrode 50 is fixed inside the external threaded sleeve 30, and the upper electrode 50 defines a first through hole 510 therein. In the present embodiment, the battery sleeve 10 is not connected to the outer sleeve 20 directly, but the battery sleeve 10 and the outer sleeve 20 are connected to each other by the internal threaded sleeve 40 and the external threaded sleeve 30.
  • The external threaded sleeve 30 includes a body 320, a connection department 330, and a circular groove (not labeled). The connection department 330 is arranged at one side near the internal threaded sleeve 40, and the connection department 330 forms an external thread (not labeled), the circular groove is formed between the body 320 and the connection department 330, and a bottom wall of the circular groove defines a second through hole 310 therein. In the present embodiment, the second through hole 310 can be square, round, triangle or in any other irregular shapes. The number of the through hole 310 is not limited, and can be one or more. The body 320, the connection department 330, and the circular groove are integrally formed, so that the overall effect is better and it is easy to be produced.
  • The internal threaded sleeve 40 is approximately a hollow cylinder, which includes a barrel 410 and a ring step 420.The ring step 420 is a ring formed relative to a periphery of the barrel 410 and extending radially from one end surface of the barrel 410.
  • An inner wall of the barrel 410 near the external thread forms an internal thread 412, the internal thread 412 engages with the external thread, thus the internal thread sleeve 40 and the external thread sleeve 30 are connected together.
  • An outer diameter of the ring step 420 is slightly larger than a diameter of the barrel 410. The ring step 420 includes an upper end surface 422 and a lower end surface 424, and the upper end surface 422 is closed to the body 320 of the external threaded sleeve 30. In the present embodiment, the upper end surface 422 is a wave-shaped end surface, the barrel 410 is sleeved in the battery sleeve 10, the lower end surface 424 resists and is fixed with the upper end surface of the battery sleeve 10, and the upper end surface 422 resists and is connected with the body 320 of the external threaded sleeve 30. Because the upper end surface 422 is a wave-shaped end surface, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the upper end surface 422 and the body 320, and the air admission passage, the second through hole 310 and the first through hole 510 form an air flow loop. When users smoke, air enters the electronic cigarette via the air admission passage formed between the upper end surface 422 and the body 320, and run through the second through hole 310 and the first through hole 510 orderly, to carry smoke to the users for smoking.
  • In the present embodiment, a distance between each wave peak of the wave-shaped end surface and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface that is adjacent to the wave peak is ranged from 0.1 mm to 1 mm. That is the distance between each wave peak and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface should be neither too much nor too little. A too much distance may weaken the sealing effect of the electronic cigarette, and a too little distance may adversely affect the taste of smoking. Preferably the distance between each wave peak and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface is 0.4 mm.
  • In the electronic cigarette of the present invention, since the upper end surface 422 of the internal threaded sleeve 40 is designed to a wave-shaped end surface, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at the point between the wave-shaped end surface and the external threaded sleeve 30, thus air of the atmosphere enters the electronic cigarette via the air admission passage, and smoke generated in the electronic cigarette is carried to the nozzle cap for smoking. The present invention designs the wave-shaped end surface cleverly, and thereby the threaded copper component is avoided from being slotted. Thus the threaded copper component does not form sharp angles and is prevented from hurting users' bodies. Furthermore, air flows generated by the electronic cigarette are uniform, and the shape of the electronic cigarette is beautiful.
  • Embodiment 2
  • As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, an electronic cigarette of a second embodiment of the present invention includes a battery sleeve 10, an outer tube 20, an internal threaded sleeve 40 a, an external threaded sleeve 30, and an upper electrode 50. Wherein, the upper electrode 50 is fixed inside the external threaded sleeve 30, and the upper electrode 50 defines a first through hole 510 therein. In the present embodiment, the battery sleeve 10 is not connected to the outer sleeve 20 directly, but the battery sleeve 10 and the outer sleeve 20 are connected to each other the internal threaded sleeve 40 a and the external threaded sleeve 30.
  • The external threaded sleeve 30 includes a body 320, a connection department 330, and a circular groove (not labeled). The connection department 330 is arranged at one side that is positioned near the internal threaded sleeve 40 a, and the connection department 330 forms an external thread (not marked), the circular groove is formed between the body 320 and the connection department 330, and a bottom wall of the circular groove defines a second through hole 310 therein. In the present embodiment, the second through hole 310 can be square, round, triangle or in any other irregular shapes. The number of the through hole 310 is not limited, and can be one or more. The body 320, the connection department 330, and the circular groove are integrally formed, so that the overall effect is better and it is easy to be produced.
  • The internal threaded sleeve 40 a is approximately a hollow cylinder, which includes a barrel 410 a, a ring step 420 a and a groove 430 a. The ring step 420 a is a ring formed relative to a periphery of the barrel 410 a and extending radially from one end surface of the barrel 410 a, the barrel 410 a defines at least one third through hole 432 a extending along an axial direction of the barrel 410 a near the ring step 420 a. Specifically, a groove 430 a is defined between the barrel 410 a and the ring step 420 a, and the third through hole 432 a is defined in a bottom wall of the groove 430 a, the number and the shape of the third through hole 432 a are not fixed, and can reasonable designed according to the users' smoking amount.
  • An inner wall of the barrel 410 a near the external thread forms an internal thread 412 a, the internal thread 412 a engages with the external thread, thus the internal thread sleeve 40 a and the external thread sleeve 30 are connected together.
  • An outer diameter of the ring step 420 a is slightly larger than a diameter of the barrel 410 a. The ring step 420 a includes an upper end surface 422 a and a lower end surface 424 a, and the upper end surface 422 a is closed to the body 320 of the external threaded sleeve 30. In the present embodiment, the lower end surface 424 a is a wave-shaped end surface, the barrel 410 a and the groove 430 a are sleeved on in the battery sleeve 10, and the upper end surface 422 a resists and is connected with the body 320 of the external threaded sleeve 30, the lower end surface 424 a resists and is connected with the upper end surface of the battery sleeve 10. Because the lower end surface 424 a is a wave-shaped end surface, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the lower end surface 424 a and the battery sleeve 10, the air admission passage, the third through hole 432 a, the second through hole 310 and the first through hole 510 form an air flow loop. When users smoke, air enters the electronic cigarette via the air admission passage formed between the lower end surface 424 a and the battery sleeve 10, and run through the third through hole 432 a, the second through hole 310 and the first through hole 510 orderly, to carry smoke to the users for smoking.
  • In the present embodiment, a distance between each wave peak of the wave-shaped end surface and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface that is adjacent to the wave peak is ranged from 0.1 mm to 1 mm. That is the distance between each wave peak and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface should be neither too much nor too little.   • In the electronic cigarette of the present invention, since the lower end surface 424 a of the internal threaded sleeve 40 a is designed to a wave-shaped end surface, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at the point between the wave-shaped end surface and one end surface of the battery sleeve 10, thus air of the atmosphere enters the electronic cigarette via the air admission passage, and the smoke generated in the electronic cigarette is carried to the nozzle cap for smoking. The present invention designs the wave-shaped end surface cleverly, and thereby the threaded copper component is avoided from being slotted. Thus the threaded copper component does not form sharp angles and is prevented from hurting users' bodies. Furthermore, air flows generated by the electronic cigarette are uniform, and the shape of the electronic cigarette is beautiful.
  • Embodiment 3
  • As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, an electronic cigarette of a third embodiment of the present invention includes a battery sleeve 10 b, an outer tube 20, an internal threaded sleeve 40 b, an external threaded sleeve 30, and an upper electrode 50. Wherein, the upper electrode 50 is fixed inside the external threaded sleeve 30, and the upper electrode 50 defines a first through hole 510 therein. In the present embodiment, the battery sleeve 10 b is not connected to the outer sleeve 20 directly, but the battery sleeve 10 b and the outer sleeve 20 are connected to each other by the internal threaded sleeve 40 b and the external threaded sleeve 30.
  • The external threaded sleeve 30 includes a body 320, a connection department 330, and a circular groove (not labeled). The connection department 330 is arranged at one side that is positioned the internal threaded sleeve 40 b, and the connection department 330 forms an external thread (not labeled), the circular groove is formed between the body 320 and the connection department 330, the circular groove defines a second through hole 310 therein. In the present embodiment, the second through hole 310 can be square, round, triangle or in any other irregular shapes. The number of the through hole 310 is not limited, and can be one or more. The body 320, the connection department 330, and the circular groove are integrally formed, so that the overall effect is better and it is easy to be produced.
  • The internal threaded sleeve 40 b is approximately a hollow cylinder, which includes a barrel 410 b, a ring step 420 b and a groove 430 b. The ring step 420 b is a ring formed relative to a periphery of the barrel 410 b and extending radially from one end surface of the barrel 410 b, the ring step 420 b defines at least one third through hole 432 b extending along an axial direction of the barrel 410 b near the ring step 420 b. Specifically, a groove 430 b is defined between the barrel 410 b and the ring step 420 b, the third through hole 432 b is defined in a bottom of the groove 430 b the number and the shape of the third through hole 432 b are not fixed, and can reasonable designed according to users' smoking amount.
  • An inner wall of the barrel 410 b near the external thread forms an internal thread 412 b, the internal thread 412 b engages with the external thread, thus the internal thread sleeve 40 b and the external thread sleeve 30 are connected together.
  • An outer diameter of the ring step 420 b is slightly larger than the barrel 410 b. The ring step 420 b includes an upper end surface 422 b and a lower end surface 424 b, and the upper end surface 422 b is closed to the body 320 of the external threaded sleeve 30. In the present embodiment, the upper end surface 422 b resists and is connected with the body 320 of the external threaded sleeve 30, and the lower end surface 424 b resists and is connected with one upper end surface of the battery sleeve 10 b, the barrel 410 b and the groove 430 b are sleeved in the battery sleeve 10 b.
  • The battery sleeve 10 b is hollow cylinder, and one end surface of the battery sleeve 10 b that is positioned near the lower end surface 424 b is a wave-shaped end surface, when the lower end surface 424 b resists and is fixed with the battery sleeve 10 b, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the wave-shaped end surface of the battery sleeve 10 b and the lower end surface 424 b, and the air admission passage, the third through hole 432 b, the second through hole 310 and the first through hole 510 form an air flow loop. When users smoke, air enters the electronic cigarette via the air admission passage formed between the lower end surface 424 b and the battery sleeve 10 b, and running through the third through hole 432 b, the second through hole 310 and the first through hole 510 orderly, to carry smoke to the users for smoking.

  • While the embodiments of the present invention are described with reference to the accompanying drawings above, the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned specific implementations. In fact, the above-mentioned specific implementations are intended to be exemplary not to be limiting. In the inspiration of the present invention, those ordinary skills in the art can also make many modifications without breaking away from the subject of the present invention and the protection scope of the claims. All these modifications belong to the protection of the present invention.

Claims (20)

1. An electronic cigarette, comprising: a battery sleeve, an outer tube, an internal threaded sleeve, an external threaded sleeve and an upper electrode fixed inside the external threaded sleeve; the upper electrode defining a first through hole therein, wherein, the external threaded sleeve defines a second through hole therein, the internal threaded sleeve includes a barrel and a ring step formed relative to a periphery of the barrel and extending radially from one end surface of the barrel, the ring step includes an upper end surface and a lower end surface, the upper end surface is a wave-shaped end surface, the barrel is sleeved in the battery sleeve, the lower end surface resists and is connected with the battery sleeve, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the upper end surface and the external threaded sleeve, and the air admission passage, the second through hole and the first through hole form an air flow loop.
2. The electronic cigarette according to claim 1, wherein, the external threaded sleeve includes a body and a connection department, the connection department forms an external thread, and the second through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the circular groove formed between the body and the connection department.
3. The electronic cigarette according to claim 2, wherein, the body of the external threaded sleeve resists and is connected with the upper end surface of the internal threaded sleeve.
4. The electronic cigarette according to claim 2, wherein, an inner wall of the barrel forms an internal thread, and the internal thread engages with the outer thread.
5. The electronic cigarette according to claim 1, wherein, a distance between each wave peak of the wave-shaped end surface and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface that is adjacent to the wave peak is ranged from 0.1 mm to 1 mm.
6. The electronic cigarette according to claim 2, wherein, the body, the connection department and the circular groove are integrally formed.
7. An electronic cigarette, comprising a battery sleeve, an outer tube, an internal threaded sleeve, an external threaded sleeve and an upper electrode fixed inside the external threaded sleeve, the upper electrode defining a first through hole therein, wherein, the external threaded sleeve defines a second through hole therein, the internal threaded sleeve includes a barrel and a ring step formed relative to a periphery of the barrel and extending radially from one end surface of the barrel, the barrel defines at least one third through hole extending along an axial direction of the barrel near the ring step, the ring step includes an upper end surface and a lower end surface, the lower end surface is wave-shaped end surface, the barrel is sleeved in the battery sleeve, the upper end surface resists and is connected with the outer threaded sleeve, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the lower end surface and the battery sleeve, and the air admission passage, the third through hole, the second through hole and the first through hole form an air flow loop.
8. The electronic cigarette according to claim 7, wherein, a groove is defined between the barrel and the ring step, and the third through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the groove.
9. The electronic cigarette according to claim 7, wherein, the external threaded sleeve includes a body and a connection department, the connection department forms an external thread, the second through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the circular groove formed between the body and the connection department.
10. The electronic cigarette according to claim 8, wherein, the upper end surface resists and is connected with the body of the external thread sleeve.
11. The electronic cigarette according to claim 9, wherein, an inner wall of the barrel forms an internal thread, the internal thread engages with the outer thread.
12. The electronic cigarette according to claim 7, wherein, a distance between each wave peak of the wave-shaped end surface and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface that is adjacent to the wave peak is ranged from 0.1 mm to 1 mm.
13. The electronic cigarette according to claim 9, wherein, the body, the connection department and the circular groove are integrally formed.
14. An electronic cigarette, comprising a battery sleeve, an outer tube, an internal threaded sleeve, an external threaded sleeve and an upper electrode fixed inside the external threaded sleeve, the upper electrode defining a first through hole therein, wherein, the external threaded sleeve defines a second through hole, the internal threaded sleeve includes a barrel and a ring step formed relative to a periphery of the barrel and extending radially from one end surface of the barrel, the barrel defines at least one third through hole extending along an axial direction of the barrel near the ring step, one end surface of the battery sleeve that is positioned near the outer sleeve is wave-shaped end surface, the barrel is sleeved in the battery sleeve, an air admission passage communicating with the external environment is formed at a point between the battery sleeve with a wave-shaped end surface and the ring step, and the air admission passage, the third through hole, the second through hole and the first through hole form an air flow loop.
15. The electronic cigarette according to claim 14, wherein, a groove is defined between the barrel and the ring step, and the third through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the groove.
16. The electronic cigarette according to claim 14, wherein, the external threaded sleeve includes a body and a connection department, the connection department forms an external thread, the second through hole is defined in a bottom wall of the circular groove formed between the body and the connection department.
17. The electronic cigarette according to claim 16, wherein, the ring step resists and is connected with the body of the external thread sleeve.
18. The electronic cigarette according to claim 16, wherein, an inner wall of the barrel forms an internal thread, the internal thread engages with the outer thread.
19. The electronic cigarette according to claim 14, wherein, a distance between each wave peak of the wave-shaped end surface and each wave valley of the wave-shaped end surface that is adjacent to the wave peak is ranged from 0.1 mm to 1 mm.
20. The electronic cigarette according to claim 16, wherein, the body, the connection department and the circular groove are integrally formed.
