  • Referring to FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, embodiments of an electronic cigarette are provided in the present invention. The electronic cigarette includes a sleeve 10, a cigarette holder cover 20, a glass fiber tube 30, and a covering member 40. The cigarette holder cover 20 on which provided at least one first through-hole 210 is set on one end of the sleeve 10, and the glass fiber tube 30 is sleeved in the sleeve 10 with an electrothermal component sleeved therein, thereby a channel corresponding to the cigarette holder cover for the atomized smoke to flow through can be formed in the glass fiber tube 30 at one end of In the illustrated embodiment, the first through-hole 210 can be offset from the central line of the cigarette holder cover 20 to avoid part of tobacco juice being inhaled by the user. The covering member 40 is covered on the cigarette holder cover 20 movably. The user can remove the covering member 40 or rotate the covering member 40 away to smoke via the first through-hole 210 when smoking And the user can cover the cigarette holder cover 20 withi the covering member 40 when not smoking As a result, it can avoid the children smoking the electronic cigarette by mistake.
  • The connection between the covering member 40 and the cigarette holder cover 20 is not limited, which can be implemented through screw jointing, interference fit jointing or snap jointing etc., as long as the covering member 40 can be removed from the cigarette holder cover 20 or rotated away from the cigarette holder cover 20. Examples of the electronic cigarette are described as follows.
  • EXAMPLE 1
  • Again referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the cigarette holder cover 20 is substantially a hollow cylinder, which includes a main body 220, a flange 230, and a connecting portion 240. The main body 220 is open at both ends, and is inserted into the sleeve 10. The flange 230 extends towards one side of the main body 220 in the radial direction to form a circular boss, and the diameter of the flange 230 is larger than that of the main body 220, thereby the flange 230 is capped on the face of the end of the sleeve 10. The connecting portion 240 is provided on the side away from the main body 220 on the flange 230, and the connecting portion 240 is open at the end near the flange 230 and provided with at least one first through-hole 210 at the face of the other end. Convex buckles are provided on the opposite side-walls of the connecting portion 240. It should be understood that the number of the first through-holes 210 can be one or more.
  • The covering member 40 is substantially a cylinder with one end open, which includes a cover body 410 and a cover cap 420. A second through-hole 422 is provided on the cover cap 420. Notches are provided on the cover body 410 corresponding to the convex buckles on the connecting portion 240, rotatably connected to the buckles on the connecting portion 240 to allow the covering member 40 covered on the cigarette holder cover 20 ratatably, thereby the first through-hole 210 and the second through-hole 422 can be communicated or staggered by rotating the covering member 40. The electronic cigarette can be smoked in a smoking mode if its switch has been turn on and the first through-hole 210 and the second through-hole 422 have been communicated. And the electronic cigarette is in a storing state if the first through-hole 210 and the second through-hole 422 are staggered. It should be understood that the number of the second through-hole 422 can be one or more, as long as the first through-hole 210 and the second through-hole 422 can be staggered to seal the first through-hole 210.
  • In another embodiment, notches (not illustrated) are provided on opposite side-walls of the connecting portion 240, and convex buckles (not labeled) are provided on the cover body 410 corresponding to the notches of the connecting portion 240, thereby the covering member 40 is rotatably connected to the cigarette holder cover 20 to enable the first through-hole 210 and the second through-hole 422 to be communicated or staggered to each other.
  • In other embodiments, the covering member 40 and the cigarette holder cover 20 also can be connected by screw jointing. Specifically, an external thread (not illustrated) is provided on the connecting portion 240, and an internal thread (not illustrated) is provided in the cover body 410, through which the covering member 40 and the cigarette holder cover 20 are connected in a threaded manner. The first through-hole 210 and the second through-hole 422 can be communicated or staggered by rotating the covering member 40.
  • In the illustrated embodiment, both numbers of the first through-holes 210 and second through-holes 422 are one as an example. FIG. 1 shows the structure of the electronic cigarette in an off state, in which the first through-hole 210 and second through-hole 422 are apart from each other completely through rotating the covering member 40 when not smoking Then the electronic cigarette will be laid up. Through such method of storing, the children can be avoided to feel unwell caused by smoking the electronic cigarette by mistake, and the interior of electronic cigarette can be kept clean to lengthen its storing period and improve the user experience because it is sealed when being stored. FIG. 2 shows the structure of the electronic cigarette in an open state, in which the first through-hole 210 on the cigarette holder cover 20 and second through-hole 422 on the covering member 40 are communicated by rotating the covering member 40 relative to the cigarette holder cover 20 when smoking, thereby the atomized smoke in the electronic cigarette can pass through the first through-hole 210 and second through-hole 422 to be inhaled by the user.
  • EXAMPLE 2
  • Referring to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, the cigarette holder cover 20 is substantially a cylinder, which includes a main body 220, a flange 230 and a connecting portion 240. The main body 220 is open at one side near the glass fiber tube 30, inserted into the sleeve 10, and provided with the first through-hole 210. The flange 230 extends towards one side of the main body 220 in the radial direction to form a circular boss, and the diameter of the flange 230 is larger than that of the main body 220, thereby the flange 230 is capped on the face of the end of the sleeve 10. It should be understood that the number of the first through-holes 210 can be one or more.
  • The covering member 40 includes a connecting rod 430 and at least one plug 440. One end of the connecting rod 430 is fixed with the plug 440, and the other end of the connecting rod 430 is fixed to the flange 230 of the cigarette holder cover 20. The shape and size of the plug 440 are matched with the first through-hole 210. In the illustrated example, the number of the plugs 440 equals to the number of the first through-holes 210, and the position and size of the plugs 440 are corresponding to that of the first through-holes 210, namely the plugs 440 are inserted into the first through-holes 210 one by one. The connecting rod 430 can be connected with the flange 230 through welding, hinge jointing or glue jointing etc., as long as the connecting rod 430 can be rotated to move the plugs 440.
  • The cigarette holder cover 20 and the covering member 40 can be integrally formed, which enables the manufacturing process easier and the overall effect better. The cigarette holder cover 20 and the sleeve 10 also can be integrally formed.
  • In the illustrated embodiment, both numbers of the first through -holes 210 and the plugs 440 are one as an example. FIG. 3 shows the structure of the electronic cigarette in an off state, in which the plug 440 is plugged in the first through-hole 210 when not smoking Then the electronic cigarette will be laid up. Through such method of storing, the children can be avoided to feel unwell caused by smoking the electronic cigarette by mistake, and the interior of electronic cigarette can be kept clean to lengthen its storing period and improve the user experience because it is sealed when being stored. FIG. 4 shows the structure of the electronic cigarette in an open state, in which the plug 440 is pulled out from the first through-hole 210 by rotating the connecting rod 430, thereby the atomized smoke in the electronic cigarette can flow out of the first through-hole 210 to be inhaled by the user.
  • It should be emphasized that the above-described embodiments of the present invention, particularly, any preferred embodiments, are merely possible examples of implementations, merely set forth for a clear understanding of the principles of the invention. Many variations and modifications may be made to the above-described embodiment(s) of the invention without departing substantially from the spirit and principles of the invention.
