Abstract
There is provided a portable curing device for fingernails that dries and cures a curable material painted on fingernails or toenails by emitting ultraviolet rays to the fingernails or toenails. In a conventional ultraviolet curing device, since a volume of the ultraviolet lamps is large, it is not easy to carry, and since a size of a space into which the finger is inserted is constant, the conventional ultraviolet curing device is not variously used. In order to solve the problems, there is provided a portable curing device for fingernails including an upper member including an upper cover that prevents a battery from being separated toward the outside and forms the entire external shape, an upper body that is provided with a battery accommodating part for accommodating a rechargeable battery and a circuit board in which a plurality of ultraviolet LEDs is provided therein, and an upper body plate that is provided with a plurality of emitting holes so as to emit ultraviolet rays downward; and a lower member including a table that is provided with an opening for opening or closing doors in a left and right direction and cut-off parts at both sides of the opening so as to allow locking parts to be inserted and then protrude upward, and a lower cover that is provided with a door installation part at which the doors are positioned to be connected to a lower side of the table. Accordingly, since the portable curing device for fingernails of is designed in the form of a mobile phone, the portable curing device for fingernails can have an excellent portability and decorativeness, and it is possible to conveniently use the portable curing device for fingernails by raising the upper member through simple operating of a button and an elastic force of a spring. Further, when a plurality of fingers is cured at the same time, it is possible to arbitrarily adjust an emitting distance and space of ultraviolet rays by folding the upper member and opening the doors.
Description
- The present invention relates to a curing device for fingernails by using ultraviolet rays, and more particularly, to a portable curing device for fingernails which can reduce a size by using a ultraviolet LED, carry by using a battery, and dry and cure a curable material painted on fingernails or toenails by emitting ultraviolet rays to the fingernails or toenails.
- In general, an ultraviolet curing device for fingernails is a device in which a plurality of ultraviolet lamps is provided within a box-shaped structure, the plurality of ultraviolet lamps is turned on, a fingernail painted with a curable material is inserted into the device, and the curable material on the fingernail is dried and cured.
- However, since a volume of the ultraviolet lamps is large, such a conventional ultraviolet curing device is not easy to carry, and since a size of a space into which the finger is inserted is constant, the conventional ultraviolet curing device may not variously be used.
- In order to solve the aforementioned problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a portable curing device for fingernails with which it is possible to increase portability and decorativeness by minimizing a size of a product by using a ultraviolet LED and it is possible to arbitrarily adjust an emitting distance and space of ultraviolet rays by adopting a foldable leg structure.
- An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides portable curing device for fingernails including an upper member including an upper cover that prevents a battery from being separated toward the outside and forms the entire external shape, an upper body that is provided with a battery accommodating part for accommodating a rechargeable battery and a circuit board in which a plurality of ultraviolet LEDs is provided therein, and an upper body plate that is provided with a plurality of emitting holes so as to emit ultraviolet rays downward; and a lower member including a table that is provided with an opening for opening or closing doors in a left and right direction and cut-off parts at both sides of the opening so as to allow locking parts to be inserted and then protrude upward, and a lower cover that is provided with a door installation part at which the doors are positioned to be connected to a lower side of the table.
- According to the present invention, since a portable curing device for fingernails of is designed in the form of a mobile phone, the portable curing device for fingernails can have an excellent portability and decorativeness, and it is possible to conveniently use the portable curing device for fingernails by raising an upper member through simple operating of a button and an elastic force of a spring.
- Further, when a plurality of fingers is cured at the same time, it is possible to arbitrarily adjust an emitting distance and space of ultraviolet rays by folding an upper member and opening doors.

- Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 , a portable curing device for fingernails of the present invention includes anupper member 100 and alower member 200. - First, the
upper member 100 includes anupper cover 10 that prevents a connected battery (not shown in the drawing) from being separated toward the outside and forms the entire external shape, and anupper body 20 and anupper body plate 30 that are provided with electric components and mechanical components, acircuit board 24 that is provided with a ultraviolet LED and a plurality of electric elements. - At this time, a
battery accommodating part 23 that accommodates a rechargeable battery is formed at an upper side of theupper body 20. Thecircuit board 24 that emits ultraviolet rays is provided within the upper body, and theupper body plate 30 is connected to a lower side thereof. - Further, a plurality of emitting
holes 31 is formed in theupper body plate 30 so as to emit the ultraviolet rays downward, andupper hinges 32 that allow upper parts of foldable legs to be described below to be movably connected are formed on both edges of a lower surface of the upper body plate. - Meanwhile, the
lower member 200 includes a table 70 at which a finger is positioned,openable doors 83, and alower cover 80. - At this time, an
opening 71 is formed in a center of the table 70 so as to open or close thedoors 83, cut-offparts 72 into which lockingparts 82 are inserted and then protrude upward are formed in both sides of the opening 71, andlower hinges 73 to which lower parts of the foldable legs to be described below are movably connected are formed in front and rear of the cut-offparts 72. - Furthermore, the
lower cover 80 is connected to the lower side of the table 70, thedoors 83 are connected to adoor installation part 81 of thelower cover 80 so as to be opened or closed in a left and right direction, and thelocking parts 82 are formed at both sides of the lower cover with a distance spaced apart from thedoor installation part 81. - The portable curing device for fingernails of the present invention having the above-stated configuration is designed in the form of a mobile phone, and has a foldable and expandable structure so as to improve usability.
- As shown in
FIG. 2 , theupper cover 10 is connected to the upper side of the device of the present invention in a folded state. Anopen button 21 that separates the upper member from the lower member to be described below with a certain distance, afunction button 21 a that selects various control operations, apower display lamp 21 b that displays a power state, a charge state, and an operation state, acharge display lamp 24 c, and anoperation display lamp 24 i are provided on a front surface of the device. Thus, it is possible to more efficiently cure nail polish painted on fingernails or toenails by the ultraviolet LED depending on a usage environment and purpose of use. - At this time, as shown in
FIG. 3 , thelower cover 80 provided with thedoor installation part 81 at a center is connected to a lower surface of the portable curing device for fingernails, and the pair ofdoors 83 that are opened or closed in the left and right direction are provided at the door installation part 81 (it is illustrated in the drawing that one door is separated in order to show internal components). - When the
doors 83 are opened, the plurality of emittingholes 31 is seen, and the ultraviolet rays are emitted from the ultraviolet LED provided at the inside through theemitting holes 31 to dry and cure a curable material painted on the fingernails. - A
charging jack 22 that is connected to a power line to charge the battery that is detachably attached to the device is provided on a rear surface of the device of the present invention. - In the present invention, as shown in
FIGS. 4 and 5 ,foldable legs 60 are connected between theupper member 100 and thelower member 200 so as to be more efficiently used by performing the expanding and folding operations depending on the usage environment. - That is, by raising the
upper member 100 connected to thelower member 200 by using thefoldable legs 60, it is possible to cure the fingernail by inserting the finger between theupper member 100 and thelower member 200, that is, on the table 70. At this time, thedoors 83 at the center of the table 70 are maintained in a closed state, and the ultraviolet rays are emitted toward the table 70 from the lower surface of theupper body 20. A current operating state of the curing device is seen by turning on or flickering the plurality ofdisplay LEDs 21 b. - Here, when the
foldable legs 60 are folded, theupper body 20 of theupper member 100 are fixed by the lockingparts 82. When theupper body 20 is unlocked from the lockingparts 82, thefoldable legs 60 are expanded by elastic forces of torsion springs 61, so that theupper body 20 is raised. - Furthermore, in order to use the
upper member 100 and thelower member 200 in a connected state, the ultraviolet rays are emitted downward through theopening 71 by opening thedoors 83. - Meanwhile, as shown in
FIG. 6 , an operatingshaft 40 connected to theopen button 21 is connected to the inside of theupper body 20, and ahead 41 having a substantially triangle shape is formed at a front end of the operatingshaft 40. - The operating
shaft 40 is moved along with the pressing of theopen button 21 by a user, and is then returned by the elastic force of the compressingspring 42. Front ends of operatingpins 43 come closely in contact with both sides of thehead 41. - The other ends of the operating pins 43 come closely in contact with contacting
parts 52 formed athooks 50, and ashaft 51 that is movably connected to theupper body 20 is formed in front and rear of thehooks 50. -
Protrusion 53 at which front ends of compressingsprings 54 are installed are formed at thehooks 50. As shown inFIG. 7 , the other ends of the compressing springs 54 come closely in contact with theupper body plate 30 or thecircuit board 24 at which a plurality ofultraviolet LEDs 25 is provided to exert the elastic forces to thehooks 50. - In the portable curing device for fingernails having the aforementioned configuration, since the
hooks 50 are constantly fixed to the lockingparts 82, thefoldable legs 60 are maintained in a folded state, and when theopen button 21 is pressed, theupper member 100 is raised. - That is, when the
open button 21 is pressed, the operatingshaft 40 is moved to separate the front ends of the operating pins 43 coming closely in contact with both inclined surfaces of thehead 41, and when the operating pins 43 are separated, the other ends thereof coming closely in contact with the contactingparts 52 move thehooks 50. - Accordingly, when the
hooks 50 are separated from the lockingparts 82, thefoldable legs 60 are expanded by the elastic forces of the torsion springs 61, and, thus, theupper member 100 is raised. - In addition, when the
upper member 100 is pressed downward, thehooks 50 are fixed to the lockingparts 82 by the elastic forces of the compressing springs 54, and the operatingshaft 40 and theopen button 21 are returned by the compressingspring 42. - Meanwhile, since the portable curing device for fingernails of the present invention is operated by the battery inserted into and attached to the inside of the device or an external power supply and an electric control operation is a general technology in the art, an operational relation between components will be briefly described below.
- As shown in
FIG. 8 , since a basic object of the present invention is to provide portability, a lithium ion battery is connected to the device so as to be attached or detached to supply a power. In order to charge the battery, aseparate charging jack 22 is provided, and the plurality of electric elements are provided on thecircuit board 24. - That is, when the power supplied from the outside is transferred to a charging
unit 24 b through the chargingjack 22, thecharge display lamp 24 c is turned on in the chargingunit 24 b, and thebattery 24 d is charged. At this time, as one embodiment of the present invention, when the battery is charged, thecharge display lamp 24 c is turned on. When the charging of the battery is finished, the charge display lamp is turned off. When the battery is not connected, the charge display lamp is flickered. The charging jack is preferably a micro USB jack used for a smart phone in order to improve compatibility. - The power of the
battery 24 d is converted into a stable power through aregulator 24 e, and the converted power is transferred to aMCU 24 a. When an operation signal of thefunction button 21 a is transferred in theMCU 24 a, the plurality ofultraviolet LEDs 25 is turned on through a LED controller 24 f and a PWM controller 24 g, and theoperation display lamp 24 i is turned on to express the operation state to the outside. The operation signal of the switch may be set to various duration times, for example, 30 seconds, 45 seconds, and 60 seconds in a design stage in consideration of a curing time by the ultraviolet rays. - On the other hand, a control signal of the LED controller 24 f is transferred to a
battery monitoring unit 24 h. When thebattery 24 d is in a low voltage state, thebattery monitoring unit 24 h transfers the control signal to theMCU 24 a, and an error state such as turning off or flickering of theoperating display lamp 24 i is expressed. - In the PWM controller 24 g, even though a battery voltage is changed depending on a use state, an output voltage and current are constantly maintained. In the
MCU 24 a, feed-back control is performed on the control signal of thefunction button 21 a and the operation of the regulator 25 a, and the LED controller 24 f is operated only for a set time transferred through the control signal of thefunction button 21 a. - Since the portable curing device for fingernails of the present invention is designed in the form of a mobile phone, the portable curing device has excellent portability and decorativeness. By raising the
upper member 100 by simply operating theopen button 21 and the elastic force of the spring, it is possible to conveniently use the curing device. - Moreover, in order to cure a plurality of fingers at the same time, by folding the
upper member 100 and opening thedoors 83, it is possible to arbitrarily adjust an emitting distance and space of the ultraviolet rays. - As shown in
FIG. 9 , as another embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to simultaneously charge the device while curing the plurality of fingers by connecting the portable curing device for fingernails to ahousing 90. - To achieve this, a connecting
space 91 is formed so as to insert the device of the present invention into an upper end of thehousing 90, and a charging port 92 connected to the chargingjack 22 to supply a power to the battery is provided inside the connectingspace 91. - A
hand inserting space 93 is formed below the connectingspace 91, and apower line 94 connected to a socket is provided on a rear surface of thehousing 90. - The present invention is not to be restricted by the particular illustrative embodiments, and it is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Claims (4)
1. A portable curing device for fingernails comprising:
an upper member including an upper cover that prevents a battery from being separated toward the outside and forms the entire external shape, an upper body that is provided with a battery accommodating part for accommodating a rechargeable battery and a circuit board in which a plurality of ultraviolet LEDs is provided therein, and an upper body plate that is provided with a plurality of emitting holes so as to emit ultraviolet rays downward; and
a lower member including a table that is provided with an opening for opening or closing doors in a left and right direction and cut-off parts at both sides of the opening so as to allow locking parts to be inserted and then protrude upward, and a lower cover that is provided with a door installation part at which the doors are positioned to be connected to a lower side of the table.
2. The portable curing device for fingernails of claim 1 ,
wherein upper hinges to which upper parts of foldable legs are movably connected are formed at both sides of a lower surface of the upper body plate,
lower hinges to which lower parts of the foldable legs are movably connected are formed at both sides of an upper surface of the table,
when an open button of the upper body is pressed, an operating shaft is moved forward to push operating pins in both directions by a head provided at a front end, and
when the operating pins move hooks to unlock locking parts, the foldable legs raise the upper member by an elastic force by a torsion spring.
3. The portable curing device for fingernails of claim 2 , wherein the operating pins are moved while coming closely in contact with a triangular inclined surface of the head formed at a front of the operating shaft along with the pressing of the open button.
4. The portable curing device for fingernails of claim 1 ,
wherein the upper member and the lower member are connected to a connection space formed in a housing to charge the battery by a charging port, and
a hand insertion space is formed below the connection space.
