- This form corresponds approximately to the form of a conventional transformer core and allows a simplified arrangement of windings on the transformer limbs thus formed.
- An exemplary embodiment of the transformer core includes in this case two rectangular through-holes or winding windows, so that three limbs are formed which allow using the transformer core for a three-phase power transformer.
