- Not applicable.
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates generally to a file folder, and more particularly to an innovative one which is has portability and hanging functions.
- 2. Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 37 CFR 1.98.
- There are available a variety of “file folders” in the existing stationery market, helping the people to accommodate the documents or paper sheets in an orderly manner.
- To further improve the functionality of the file folder, a hanging file folder has been developed by fixing a straphanger on the plate of the file folder, thus enabling users to retract it in a hanging state or carry it on the back.
- However, the configuration of aforementioned hanging file folder still has some shortcomings for further improvement, of which the hanging configuration is a crucial concern. Based upon conventional structural configurations, the straphanger is used in an offset state, so the file folder is also disposed in an offset state with some troubles in operation. Hence, some continuous efforts have to be made for further improving the customer-oriented functions as an important technical task and objective.
- Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement if the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve the efficacy.
- Therefore, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate experimentation and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.
- The enhanced efficacy of the present invention is as follows:
- Based on the unique configuration of the present invention, a portable file folder with hanging functions mainly comprises: a file folder body, an integral hand-held portion, a strap locator, a strap body and a file resting portion. Since the integral hand-held portion is placed onto the bulge of the file folder body, it is possible to reduce the cost but maintain the portability; both ends of the strap body are penetrated into the spacing hole at the center of the extension stopper, so the strap body can be hung centrally or carried on the back easily, thus realizing the portability and hanging functions of the file folder to meet the diversified user demands with ease-of-use.
- Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
-
FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the folder covers of the present invention in an opening state. -
FIG. 2 shows an isolated schematic view of the present invention. -
FIG. 3 shows a side view of two folder covers of the present invention in an unlimited state. -
FIG. 4 shows a side view of two folder covers of the present invention in a folding state. -
FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of the file folder of the present invention in a limited folding state. -
FIGS. 1-5 depict preferred embodiments of a portable file folder of the present invention with hanging functions which are provided for only explanatory objective for patent claims. Said file folder comprising: -
- a
file folder body 10, consisting of two foldable folder covers 11, 11B, of which these two folder covers 11, 11B are defined withinterior surfaces side 14 is defined on thefolder cover 11 adjacent to thebulge 13; - an integral hand-held
portion 20, having through-holes 21 opened on thebulges - a
strap locator 30, arranged at two ends of the connectingside 14 of afolder cover 11; thestrap locator 30 contains twoextension stoppers 34 and twostrap fasteners 35, of which theextension stopper 34 is linked to afolder cover 11 and centrally provided with aspacing hole 32; thestrap fastener 35 is provided with amating portion 31; - a
strap body 40, extended to define twocorresponding ends spacing hole 32 of thestrap locator 30, and linked to themating portion 31; these twoends strap body 40 can be mated fixedly with themating portion 31 via afastener 43, so that thestrap body 40 and thefile folder body 10 can be positioned, allowing thestrap body 40 to be easily retracted in a hanging state or carried on the back; - at least a
file resting portion 50, placed on theinterior surface 12 of thefolder cover 11 of thefile folder body 10; the preferred embodiment of the present invention permits afile resting portion 50 to be arranged on theinterior surfaces file resting portion 50 can be set as an eolian structure containing a plurality of accommodating spaces or a framed space, etc;
- a
- With this configuration, when these two folder covers 11, 11B are folded, the retraction state can be limited by the
extension stopper 34, and thestrap body 40 can be hung by thespacing hole 32 at the center of theextension stopper 34, or carried manually by the integral hand-heldportion 20. - The
strap fastener 35 of thestrap locator 30 further comprises a framedsnap ring 36 and aspacer 33. The top of thesnap ring 36 forms themating portion 31, whilst the bottom of thesnap ring 36 is fixed on the connectingside 14 via thespacer 33. - The
extension stopper 34 is linked to afolder cover 11, and folded with theother folder cover 11B in a limited state. The connecting part of theextension stopper 34 and thefolder cover 11B can be limited via a male/female fastener or pin. The file folder enables two folder covers 11, 11B to be opened or retracted limitedly via theextension stopper 34. - Based on the above-specified structural configuration, the core of the file folder of the present invention lies in that, the file folder can be carried manually, or the
strap body 40 can be hung centrally. The integral hand-heldportion 20 is composed of through-holes 21 opened on thebulges strap locator 30 is arranged at two ends of the connectingside 14 of thefolder cover 11, so that bothends strap body 40 can be penetrated into thespacing hole 32 at center of theextension stopper 34, and then linked fixedly to the mating portion 31 (shown inFIG. 3 ); when two folder covers 11, 11B are folded, thestrap body 40 can be hung centrally, and also linked to thefile folder body 10 in a secure state. - Referring also to
FIGS. 3 and 4 , when the folder covers 11, 11B of thefile folder body 10 are folded, theextension stopper 34 can be folded with theother folder cover 11B in a limited state. With thespacing hole 32 located at the center of theextension stopper 34 as well as two ends of thestrap body 40 in a penetrating state, the file folder can be hung centrally or carried on the back, thus realizing the portability and hanging functions to meet the diversified user demands (in collaboration withFIG. 5 ).
