- the compressors shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 may be modified by having a phase separation vessel placed upstream of any stage thereof which receives directly cooled natural gas, the phase separation vessel being essentially the same as the vessel 604 shown in FIG. 6 and being fitted with a demister.
