  • the supporting plate 83 may have an insertion groove while the damper hinge 77 may have a protrusion such that the protrusion of the damper hinge 77 is forcibly inserted into the insertion groove of the supporting plate 83 .

  • the damper hinge 77 and the bracket hinge 78 are securely attached to each other by mean of a fixing unit, which comprises: a joint pin 85 inserted through the hole formed at the damper hinge 77 and the hole formed at the bracket hinge 78 ; and a cylindrical shock-absorbing member fitted on the outer circumferential surface of the joint pin 85 .
  • the shock-absorbing member is a bushing 79 , which is made of a resilient material, such as rubber or synthetic resin. While the damper 60 is at a right angle to damper bracket 61 , the joint pin 85 , on which the bushing 79 is fitted, is forcibly inserted into the holes of the damper hinge 77 and the bracket hinge 78 . Consequently, the damper 60 is securely fixed to the damper bracket 61 while the bushing 79 is compressed.
  • the friction member 74 is disposed at the outer circumferential surface of the piston 84 for generating friction on the inner circumferential surface of a cylinder body 92 of the cylinder mechanism 90 .

  • the piston 84 which is vertically moved, is applied to the resilient force generated by the coil spring 76 , and therefore, the resilient force generated by the coil spring 76 acts as the damping force to decrease the vertical force. Since the cylinder body 92 is sealed, the pressure of air compressed by the piston 84 acts as the damping force to attenuate the vibration or the impact transmitted through the piston 84 .
  • the body cap 94 is supported by the shock-absorbing member 72 mounted at the lower end of the body cap 94 . Consequently, the shock-absorbing member 72 is vertically compressed or expanded to absorb the force transmitted through the cylinder mechanism 90 .

  • the damper is rotated about the joint pin, and therefore, the shock-absorbing operation is performed by the bushing, which is made of a resilient material, when multi-directional vibration or impact is transmitted to the damper. Consequently, the present invention has the effect of applying the damping force to the multi-directional vibration or impact.
  • the shock-absorbing operation is performed by the resilient force of the bushing disposed at the outer circumferential surface of the lower part of the damper. Consequently, the present invention has the effect of maximizing the damping force in any directions.
