  • Not applicable.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates generally to a hangtag, and more particularly to a hangtag that is made with adjustable upper and lower fasteners, so that the distance between the upper and lower clips can be adjusted for different products with different specifications.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Many products sold in the market today rely on the hangtag for display and management. Moreover, this type of hangtag is widely used with all kinds of hand tools and the products with related components, and the structure varies depending on the shape and feature of the product that is placed upon it. For instance, some hangtags are made with the combination of blister and paperboard with the product placed in it; some hangtags have holders for the handles of hand tools to clip. Even though there are many types of hangtags, however, the designs for some of the products still present problems. Take the plaster trowel for example, it has a low profile that takes lot of spaces, and there is a grip that sticks out, if this type of product uses the hangtag made with the combination of blister and paperboard, the amount of the material used for it would not be economical. Moreover, even though the shapes of the low profile of the plaster trowel are the same, however, the specifications are different; therefore, all styles have to be made separately, which increases it cost obviously. Moreover, most of the time, the hangtag becomes waste after the consumer bought the product.
  • Thus, it would be an advancement if the art to provide an improved hangtag that fits all products with different specifications can significantly improve the efficacy.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The effects of the present invention are as follows:
      • 1. Providing the upper and lower fastener 10 that can be adjusted, which is the new design that is first seen in the industry and meets the qualification for new patent.
      • 2. By this improvement, the distance between the upper and lower clip 11 and 21 can be adjusted for the products with different specifications. This tag achieves the function of one tag for all and costs effective, which qualifies for the better industrial benefit of new patents.
  • The new effect of this invention is explained as follows:
      • 1. The design of the connection between the upper and lower fasteners 10, 20 by locating the jagged edge 14 and rack 24 has an advantage of fast and high efficiency.
      • 2. The two walls of the □-shape slot 23 of combining end 22 of the lower fastener 20 are KPI (A) type, with this design, when the connecting end 12 of the upper fastener 10 is fastened in the □-shape slot 23, and the jagged edge 14 and the rack 24 are connected, the idea is using the two inner walls of the O-shape slot 23 to create the clipping action that can prevent the connecting end 12 of the upper fastener 10 from coming off the □-shape slot 23 easily.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 shows an exploded perspective view of the hangtag of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 shows an exploded perspective view of the assembly of the hangtag and plaster trowel.
  • FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the assembly of the hangtag and plaster trowel.
  • FIG. 4 shows an exploded perspective view of the assembly parts of the hangtag.
  • FIG. 5 shows an exploded cutaway view of the assembly parts of the hangtag.
  • FIG. 6 shows an assembled cutaway view of the assembly parts of the hangtag.
  • FIG. 7 shows an assembled plane view of the assembly parts of the hangtag.
  • FIG. 8 shows the application of the hangtag of the present invention another specification of trowel.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The features and the advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, an adjustable hangtag structure embodied in the present invention comprises:
      • adjustable upper and lower fasteners 10, 20; a suspension hole 13 on the top of the upper fastener 10, and a upper clip 11 beneath the upper fastener 10; underneath the upper clip has a connecting end 12 that can be extended downward, and there sets the first locating point (see later part for example); there is a lower clip 21 placed on the bottom of the lower fastener 20, and a combining end 22 located on the top of the lower clip that can be extended upward, and there is the second locating point (see later part for example) on the combining end for the first locating point of upper fastener 10 mentioned above to select the section for connection.
  • The upper clip 11 and the lower clip 21 of the upper and lower fastener 10, 20 are shaped in L-shape geometrically.
  • Moreover, the upper and lower fastener 10, 20 in the present invention can be made by plastic, and the connecting end 12 of the upper faster 10 is a long piece of board, and the first locating point is the jagged edge 14 placed at the bottom of the board (see FIG. 4). The connecting end 22 of the lower fastener 20 has a □-shape slot that connects the long connecting end 12 mentioned above. The second locating point is the rack 23 that is placed on both sides of the □-shape slot, which is for the jagged edge 14 of the connecting end 12 of the upper fastener 10 mentioned above to select the section for connection (see FIGS. 5 and 6).
  • The two walls of the □-shape slot 23 of combining end 22 of the lower fastener 20 are KPI (A) type, with this design, when the connecting end 12 of the upper fastener 10 is fastened in the □-shape slot, and the jagged edge 14 and the rack 24 are connected, the idea is using the two inner walls of the □-shape slot 23 to create the clipping action that can prevent the connecting end 12 of the upper fastener 10 from coming off the □-shape slot 23 easily.
  • Through the above structure and design, the adjustable hangtag disclosed by the present invention can be the hangtag for plaster trowel, please see FIGS. 2 and 3. The upper clip 11 of the upper fastener 10 is clipped to the upper edge of the low profile 31 of the plaster trowel 30 (as shown in the figure), and the lower clip 21 of the lower fastener 20 is clipped to the lower edge of the low profile 31 of the plaster trowel 30, then take the connecting end 12 of the upper fastener 10 and fasten it to the □-shape slot 23 of the combining end 22 of the lower fastener 20 to connect the jagged edge 14 and the rack 24. By doing so, the combination of the hangtag and plaster trowel is completed, and the distance between the upper and lower clips 11 and 21 disclosed by the present invention can be adjusted. Therefore, the business can just manufacture one type of hangtag for different low profiles 31 of plaster trowel 30 with different specifications. (30B) (see FIGS. 2 and 8, and the plaster trowel with the different low profiles), this way, not only it would greatly reduce the cost, but also increase the efficiency on assembling.
