Abstract

The present invention relates to a multi-folded umbrella with two layers of covers, which includes a frame with at least three-folded ribs, an upper cover and a lower cover. The rim of the upper cover is connected at a position above the first rib or the second rib not to extend to the end rib. When the umbrella is folded and closed, the upper cover will be hidden in the umbrella, which may have an outlook with a single cover for being facilitated to be closed or received.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • A conventional multi-folded umbrella with two layers of covers, as shown in FIG. 1, is designed to increase windproof function and to be facilitated for carrying or receiving. It includes a frame with at least three folded ribs for a small folded volume. The frame is provided with two layers of an upper cover ([0001] 1) and a lower cover (2) thereon for windproof function. The rim of the upper cover (1) must be extended to a position at middle of each end rib (3) and combined thereon for necessary connection. When the umbrella is folded completely, the rims of two layers of the upper cover (1) and the lower cover (2) are exposed outside. So the upper cover (1) is possibly disturbed or folded when closing the umbrella, which may be a bad outlook.
  • Accordingly, the primary object of the invention is to provide a multi-folded umbrella with two layers of covers, wherein the upper cover may be hidden in the umbrella, when the umbrella is folded and closed. Now the features and advantages of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.[0002]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a conventional multi-folded umbrella with two layers of covers. [0003]
  • FIG. 2 is a plan view showing a three-folded umbrella with two layers of covers in opening according to the present invention. [0004]
  • FIG. 3 is a plan view of FIG. 2 in closing. [0005]
  • FIG. 4 is a plan view showing another embodiment of a three-folded umbrella with two layers of covers in opening according to the present invention. [0006]
  • FIG. 5 is a plan view of FIG. 4 in closing. [0007]
  • FIG. 6 is a plan view showing a four-folded umbrella with two layers of covers in opening according to the present invention. [0008]
  • FIG. 7 is a plan view of FIG. 6 in closing.[0009]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, they show an application in a three-folded umbrella of the present invention, which includes a frame having a first rib ([0010] 5), a second rib (6), and an end rib (3). An assisting rib (4) is provided on the first rib (5) to connect with the rim of an upper cover (1). A lower cover (2) is provided from a position beneath the assisting rib (4) extending to outer end of the end rib (3). The rim of the upper cover (1) falls between the first rib (5) and the second rib (6). When the umbrella is folded and closed, only the lower cover (2) is exposed while the upper cover (1) will be hidden in the closed umbrella, which will be the same as an umbrella with a single cover for being facilitated in closed and received.
  • Above disclosure is only an exemplary according to the present invention, which can be modified under the same spirit and will be claimed in the application. Such as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the assisting rib ([0011] 4) is set on the second rib (6), wherein the upper cover (1) has the rim not extending to the end rib (3). In FIGS. 6 and 7, they show an embodiment of a four-folded umbrella, which includes the upper cover (1) having the rim not to extend to the end rib (3) and keeps the closed folded umbrella having an outlook with a single cover.
  • Accordingly, the present invention provides an invented structure with improved utility. It obviously gains the utility and novelty for patent and is thus applied. [0012]
