This permits the pipe cleaner 14 to be carried or stored in the cleaner receiving opening 11 and allows of the usual smoking of the pipe, that is, the smoke will be confined entirely to the smoke passage '7, which is in no way connected with the cleaner receiving opening 11. The cleaner receiving opening 11 is of such length as to receive a pipe cleaner 14 sufiiciently long to extend from the tip 6 to the interior 8 of the bowl portion when it is inserted in the smoke passage, and thereby remove all obstructions throughout the entire length of the smoke passage.

From the foregoing it will be readily seen that we have perfected a pipe construction which'pe'rmits thecarrying of a pipe cleaner within the pipeystructure and, concealed from view.: The pipe cleaner. is easily and quickly removable Irom thecleaner opening, and ha'sa snug fit therein, which will prevent accidental displacement of the cleaner.
