This invention relates to an improved sink, tray and table combination, the object being to provide an improved structure wherein the advantages both of a sink with one or more drain boards and a tub are provided. i

Another object of the invention is to provide a combined sink and tray structure of one integral piece with a tub formation extending an appreciable distance below the w drain board or boards and projecting a short distance thereabove so that liquid will not discharge into the tub.

An additional object, more specifically, is

to provide a combined drain. board, sink and tub structure wherein the tub structure projects above the sink structure, and also, wherein there is a separate drain for the sink structure and the tub structure.

Referring to the accompanying drawing by numerals, 1 indicates what may be termed a tub, 2 what may be termed a sink, and 3 and 3 what may be termed trays or drain boards. While two drain boards have been shown in the drawing, it will be understood that one drain board could be used if do 5 sired without departing from the invention.

All of these members are preferably cast in i one solid piece and then covered with enamel.

r and through this bottom extends a drain pipe 5. The drain pipe 5 is connected also to a drain pipe 6 connected to the bottom of the tub 1 so that both drain pipes nay discharge out of the same discharge pipe 7, which pipe is connected in any desired manner with any kind of a trap.

In forming the device there is provided an apron 8 which merges into the end walls 9 and 10, and said end walls in turn merge into a back wall 11. As illustrated in Figures 1 and 3 the tub 1 is integral with the other parts of the device, but is provided with an upwardly extending portion or wall 12 proecting a desired distance above the bottom of the sink 2. By reason of this construction if any water or other liquid is poured into the sink 2, it will not enter the tub 1, and also, if water or other liquid should be poured on to either of the drain boards, none of the water will enter the tub 1, but will ass on to the sink 2 and from thence aroun to the depression or cavity 4, and finally out through the pipe 5. I

Coat-ting with the tub I is a dishpan 13 having a flange 14 fitting over the top of the wall 12, as illustrated particularly in Figure 3. When washing anything in the dishpan 13, if some of the Water is spilled out it will find its. way to the drain pipe 5 and will not enter the tub 1. Whenever desired, the front edge of the pan 13 could be grasped by the fingers and the pan tilted so as to pour the Water directly into the depression 4, thus prevent ing any of the liquid from entering the tub 1. In this way the tub I is maintained clean at all times so that it may be used for washing clothes or any other article at an time without especially cleaning. Normal y, the dishpan'13 is left in place whether it is used or not. \Vhen mounted as shown in Figure 3, it acts as a cover for the tub 1. Under some circumstances, it may be-desirable to have a,- fl'at plate 15 placed across the tub 1 and the dishpan 13. This late may be of any desired material, as, f dr instance, steel covered with enamel and provided with any desired number of legs 16, each leg having the lower end covered by a cushion, as, for instance, a rubber socket 17. These legs support the plate 15 a very short distance above the dishpan 13 so that any weight placed on this plate will not be communicated to the dishpan. Also, the edges of the plate 15 are preferably turned over, as indicated at 18, whereby if any liquid should be spilled thereon, it will flow into the sink 2. This board is intended for many uses, as, for instance, to support an ironing board when a small amount of ironing is desired, or to support sauce pans, or other articles when preparing a meal.

I claim 1. A combination structure of the character described including a body formed as a pair of'd rain boards merging into a centrally depressed sink portion positioned between the drain boards, a tub extending through the sink portion with most of the tub below the sink portion and a comparatively low wall extending above the sink portion so that liquid from the sink portion will not drain into the tub, means forming an outlet at the bottom of the tub and means at the rear of said low wall forming an outlet to said sink portion.

A device of the character described including a body having a back, a substantially flat sink inclined slightly toward said back, means forming a drain near said back, a tub projecting through said sink and having an upstanding wall projecting above said drain and sink, and means at the bottom of said tub forming a drain for said tub.

3. A device of the character described including a body formed with a substantiall flat portion acting as'a' sink having upstan ing walls, two of the walls merging into drain boards connected to the opposlte ends of said sink, one of the walls merging into a front protecting wall structure, and the other merging into a back protecting wall structure, a tub integral with the sink and having an upstanding wall projecting above the sink, a drain pipe connected to the sink at the rear of the tub and below the upper edge thereof, and a separate drain pipe connected to the bottom of the tub.

A device of the character described comprisin a body including a pair of spaced drain boards merging into a centrally positioned comparatively flat section depressed below the drain boards and acting as a sink, said sink being inclined toward the rear and at the rear having a depressed socket mergin into a drain outlet'and a tub carried by said sink, the upper edge projecting above the bottom of said sink whereby liquid deposited on the drain boards or sink will pass I around to the rear of the tub into said socket,

and means forming a drain from the bottom of said tub.

5. A device of the character described in cluding a tub having a drain at the bottom,

A device of the character described including a tub havin a drain at the bottom, a dishpan open 0 y at the top having a curved upper edge fitting over the upper end of the tub and acting as a cover therefor, means connected with the tub below the upper edge and above the bottom thereof formin a sink, said means having an a erture socket at the rear of the tub, where y when said dishpan is swung toward the rear of the sink it will discharge into said socket and said tub will remain clean.

7. A device of the character described including a tub and drain at the bottom, means connected to and surrounding the tub a short distance below the upper end of the tub for forming a sink, means forming a drain for said sink, a dishpan open only at the top with a rolled upper edge fitting over the upper edge of said tub and acting as a lid therefor, and a plate provided with a plurality of le s resting on said sink and acting as a tafie, said plate covering said dishpan and most of said sink.

8. A device of the character described including an integral structure formed with a sink section merging at its sides into oppo sitely extending drain boards discharging into the sink section, a back member merging into said sink at the rear thereof and into the drain boards at their rear edges, a. pair of substantially triangular shaped side members merging mto the ends of said back and respective drain boards,;and a tub merging at its upper end into a sink section, said tub projecting above said sink section to prevent iquid from flowing from the sink section into 'the tub, and means forming a drain from said sink section.

9. A device of the character described comprisin an integral structure formed with a centra portion acting as a sink, said central ortion being inclined and formed at the owermost point of the surface with an inteal depression having a discharge opening in the bottom, said central section having u standing walls at two of its edges, said we ls merging into the sink section at their lower portions and at their upper portions merging into oppositely extending drain boards and a tub integral with the sink arrange substantially centrally thereof with a portion thereof projecting above the sink so that liquid in the sink will drain into said dew pression and not into said tub whereby the tub will remain clean while the sink and drain boards are in use.
