- Valve 35 is then manipulated to turn the suction into passage 23 so as to remove the undesirable uterine liquids. WVhen the tip of the instrument has been introduced into the uterus up to a point adjacent the entrance of the Fallopian tube to be operated on, rod 30 is withdrawn and replaced by a hollow tube 25.
