Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 184,969, dated December 5, 1876; application filed November 17, 1876.
To all whom 1' 25 may concern:
Be it known that I, HARDING JOHNSON, of the city of Wilmington and State .of North. Carolina, have invented a new and useful Improvement in the Packing 0t Rosin as an Article of Commerce, which improvement is fully set forth in the following specification.
The object of my invention is to afford a package of rosin convenient for either the retail or wholesale dealer in the article, so as to enable them to avoid the trouble, and attendant great inconveniences, in dealing out the article to their customers, such as the soiling 1 of clot-hes, injury to goods, &c., caused by rosindust.
My invention consists of rosin melted and shaped in molds and packages, rosin reduced to powder andpacked, or rosin out into regu- HARDING JOHNSON.
