T he collar holder shown in Figures 2 and 3 of the drawings comprises a curved member 1 which may be suitably ornamented on its surface and which forms the foundation support for a member 2 of substantially thel same length as the member 1. A sleeve 3 is fixed centrally of the member 1 andv has two parts l and 5' bent over the center of the member 2 to clamp the said member 2 securely to the member 1.

The member 2 is preferably made of spring'y material and extends in opposite directions from a sleeve 3 to formgripping jaws co-operating with the ends of the member 1 to hold the end of a soft collar or other fabric securely between said jaws. In this case, however, the balls of different size have a sort of differential movement which tends to impose a greater friction grip on the fabric between them than would be the case if the balls were of equal size.

In Figure 'there is shown a tie clasp designated generally by the reference numeral 36. This clip comprises-a1lowermember 37 connected by a bend 38 to the upper member 39. The upper member has a socket v440 formed near its outer end to receive the ball bearing 4l.. What I claim is y v l. A necktie holder formed of a length of resilient wire folded on itself to form opposed gripping jaws, ball bearings spaced apart on one of said jaws and near the end thereof, and a. ball bearing on the other aw in yielding gripping contact with said bearings. y

A necktie holder formed of a length of resilient material folded on itself to form substantially parallel opposed gripping members, a ball bearing mounted near the end of one of said members, and a ball bearing member mounted on the end of the other member in position to contact with the ball bearing on the first member. j
