let With the other sections folding into the adjustable means and between the ends of `'this U-link so that a compact assemblage may be formed When in folded position With- :out unduly increasing the thickness of the device to the discomfortof the user; and the following is ka'detailed description of the present embodiment of this invention illus- .trating the preferredmeans by Which these advantageous results may be accomplished.
With reference to the drawings, 15 designates the frame links of they bracelet which are hingedly joined together'by a connector 16, the end link 17 being permanently attached to the device, and the end link 18 being joined to the connector member 19 which is a part of the connecting device, and which is adjustable With reference to the sections, as Will more fully hereinafter be described.
The extension device consists of a channel section 20 having a top Wall 21,,side Walls 422 With inturned edges or flanges 23. A'plate section 24 is provided With trunnions 25 eX- tending into the openings 26 in the sidewalls 22 to hinge'fthe same thereto, and about the trunnions 25 there is also pivotally mounted a channel member 27 having a top vWall 28, "side Walls 29, and ylateral extensions 30 provided With ears 31 having openings 32 therein 19 thereto in assembled relation.A Referring channel member, a plurality of sections foldsaid sectionretaining said arms With their detents in said opening butfbeing resilient to prevent said connector members bemg sWung from beneath said flanges and with said channel member about the p'ivot of the channel member, Whereby disconnection or adjustment of the connector member may be effected.
