V the strip into a part of the door to hold the Figure'3 shows one of the three corners of device on the door and to hold the ends of a door with a device mounted thereon. .the strip in the pocket.
Figure 4 is a view showing the devices on In testimony whereof I afiix my signature. a hinge, and OSCAR F. NELSON.
Figure 5 is a longitudinal section through so one of the devices.
I will first describe one of the devices in detail and particular attention is directed to Figure 5. Numeral 5 denotes an oblong 35 plate with ends 6 bent thereover to form pockets for receiving the ends of a strip of rubber or similar material denoted by the numeral 7 and the intermediate portion of 40 this strip is bowed outwardly from the plate.
The ends of the-strip are anchored in the pockets by screws 8 which are also utilized to anchor the device;
The devices may be mounted on the side 45 of the doorway adjacent the hinges as indicated in Figure 1, or the devices may be mounted on the hinged edge of the door as is indicated in Figure 2 or the device may be mounted on the free end of the door as 50 is indicated in Figure 3 or the device may
