l The invention relates to book covers and *more particularly to covers or cover blanks for a flat-opening check book.

1,606,213, dated November 9, 1926, comprises side cover boards, a back stiifening board,

and. strips adjacentand between said side -coverb0ards and :back stiffening board.-

which is of extreme neatness in appearance.-

The present invention contemplates cutting a series of grooves between the side;-
