This invention relates to a combined receptable and tooth brush holder.

An object of the invention is the provision of a. receptacle for supportin a bracket for tooth brushes with the bracket being carried by a cover for the receptacle which'is secured to the wall of a room. 7 7

A further object of the invention is the provision of a receptacle for-housing a tooth brush holder which is suspended from the cover for the receptacle, acontainer being supported from the bracket which carries tooth brushes for housing an antiseptic agent which may evaporate with the vapors or fine particles passing through perforations in the bracket and entering the receptacle, the cover being provided'with perforations in the'cor rugated flangewhich rests upon the openjend or the receptacle whereby the antiseptic which has entered the receptacle in any form may be distributed to the atmosphere while permitting circulation of air in the receptacle.

This invention will bezbest understood from a consideration of the-following detailed description, in view'of the accompanying drawings forming a part of the specification; nevertheless it is to be underst'oodthat the invent-ion is not confined to the-disclosure, being susceptibleof such changes and modifications which shall define no *inaterial departure from the salient features of the invention as expressed in the appended claims.

The receptacle has a closed bottom 12 and its upper end, as indicated at 13, open. Theintermediate portion of the receptacle is provided with spaced angular rigs 14 and 15. Between the ribs 15 is a cylindrical portion ceive" the outwardly 'turn'ed flanges 22 of the ends 18. The disc 19 has perforations 23 to receive any well known form of fastening means such :as screws 23 for securing said disc to the wall of a room. When the flanges 22 are fitted within the grooves 21 the ends 18 of the band 17 are clamped together.

The top 11 is frusto-conically shaped and has a finger piece 25 which may be grasped to place a bracket 26 in such position that a tooth brush 27 which is tobe selected will appear before-the person rotating the cover, the bracket 26 is supported by a rod 28 secured to a plate 29 forming part of the cover which supports thebracket 26. v

The cover isv provided with a. flange 3O turned inwardly from the edges 31015 the cover and downwardly and inwardly as and embraces the inner wall of thereceptacle adjacent the upper end. The flange, as

indicated at 34, isprovided. with perforations to permit the circulation of air betweenthe exterior or the container and the interior 35 of the receptacle. 'It will be noted that the air must rise to the plate 729' before it passes through the perforations 30.

The container is threaded at 46 onto a circular flange which depends from the bracket 26.

The container 44 is filled with any suitable antiseptic which may be in the form of .a powder or liquid whereby the fine particles of powder or vapors from the liquid will pass through the perforations 43 and saturate the chamber 35 of the receptacle 10. Since the tooth brushes are supported on the bracket 26 the antiseptic will aid in maintaining sterilization of the brushes. The air and likewise vapors may escape through the perforations 34 in the flange 30 from time to time. The last-mentioned perforations aid in maintaining circulation between the exteriorand interior of the receptacle 10. A number of tooth brushes may be supported by the recess 40 of the bracket '26 and when it is desired to remove a brush the owner will revolve the cover 11 through the finger piece 25 when necessary in order to determine which brush is his. The cover is then removed together with the bracket 26 and container 44 and the cover is returned after the tooth brush has been removed. It

will be seen by this construction that a number of tooth brushes may not only be supported in spaced relation but they will be 11. The knob or finger piece is threaded at 25 into the upper end to close the same to theatmosphere. By this construction it is not necessary to removethe cover 11 to,- gether with the tooth brush holder and the container 44 when it is desired to replenish the antiseptic in the container. The knob or stopper may be removed and the antiseptic, preferably inthe form of a liquid,- may be poured into the container through the tube 28. r I I The container 44 operates as an enlargement depending from the bracket 26 and aids inmaintaining the handles 27 of the tooth brushes 27 out of contact with each other and maintains said handles in spaced relation. It will therefore .be noted that the member 25 performs a double function in that it closes the tube while providing a fingerpi-ece which may be grasped for rotating the cover 11 and likewise the bracket 26 in placing the proper tooth brush at the front of the receptacle 'whenthe owner desires to remove it from the receptacle.

A combined antiseptic housing and holder for tooth brushes'comprising a receptacle, a removable cover for the receptacle, a hollow rod secured to the cover and depending into the receptacle, the outer end of the rod opening to the atmosphere, a stopper for the upper open end, a bracket for brushes secured to the lower end, a container for an antiseptic depending from the bracket, the lower endof the rod opening into the container whereby the antiseptic may be filled into the container by the removal of the stop per, the container being in restricted communication with the receptacle.

A combined antiseptic housing and holder for tooth brushes comprising a receptacle, a removable cover for the receptacle, a hollow rod secured to the cover and depending intothe receptacle, the outer end of the rod opening to the atmosphere, a stopper for the upper open end, a bracket for brushes secured to the lower end, a container 'for an antiseptic depending from the bracket, the lower end of the rod opening into the container whereby the antiseptic may be filled nication with the receptacle, the container being remoyably connected to the bracket.

A- combined antiseptic housing and holder, for tooth brushes comprising a receptacle, a removable cover for the receptacle, a hollow rodsecuredto the cover and depending into the receptacle, the outer end of the rod opening to the atmosphere, a stopper for the upper open end, a bracket for brushes secured to the lower end, a container for an antiseptic depending from the bracket, the lower end of therod opening into the container whereby the antiseptic may be filled into the container by the removal of the stopper, the container being in restricted communication with the recep tacle, the top being provided with openings .for placing the receptacle in communication with the atmosphere. I

A combined antiseptic housing and holder for tooth brushes comprising a receptacle, a removable cover for the receptacle, a hollow'rod secured to the cover and dependmg into the receptacle, the outer end of the rod opening to the atmosphere, a stopper for the upper open end, a bracket for brushes secured to the lower end, a container for an antiseptic depending from the bracket, the lower end of the rod opening into the con tainer whereby the antiseptic may be filled into the container by the removal of the stopper, the container being in restricted first day of J anuary, A.
