IMPROVEMENT IN CHILDRENS CRIBS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. [78,945, dated une 20, 1876; application filed May 18, 1876.

The accompanying drawing represents a crib made in accordance with my invention,
Figurel is a perspective view of the crib. Figs. 2 and 3 are like views of the several parts of the crib when taken apart and ready for packing or trans 'lortation.
A are the ends of the crib, each being a counterpart of the other. Each end is formed, as shown,with rails d, end posts a, and legs I), to which, if desired, a rocker, 0, may be fitted. Above the rails and posts the end tapers to a point, this tapering portion 6 rising some distance above the rails. The tops of the tapering parts 6 of the crib are connected by a longitudinal brace or bar, f, whose ends fit in sockets formed in the parts 0, and are there held by screws 9. The side rails h of the crib are held between the end piecesA, the ends of the rails fitting in sockets in the end pieces, and being there held by screws t. The bottom of the crib is formed by slats or rods j,
which fit in holes or sockets formed for them mit of the crib being airy and roomy, even when covered with mosquito-netting. I am also enabled to use in the construction of the Gothic ends cuttings and pieces'which are valueless for other purposes.

The herein described cradle, consisting of the Gothic end pieces and top braces, side rails, and bottom bar's, constructed, fitted to- W gether, and arranged as shown and set forth.
