illustrated by the drawings, have shown a o three-side lock fastener which is similar in construction and operation to .the fastener illustrated and described in my co-pending application Serial No. 92,718,1filed herewith.
The socket illustrated includes a one-piece d casing l formed in the same manner and ysecured in the, same manner by a screw 2 to a rigid support 3 to provide a flush type fas-Lener as more fully described in the abovementioned application. The only 'difference in the socket shown in Figs. 2 and 3 ofthis application is the Jformation ofthe closure plate 4. which inthis instance is providedv with an embossed'portion 5, the purposes of which will be hereinafter described.
The stud member illustrated includes the socket-engaging part v6, the front plate 7,-
socket-engaging part 6 is non-resilient and ofv a diameter which is the same or slightly smaller than the stud-receiving aperture 9 presented by the socket. A slot 10 is provided at the upper side of the socket-engaging part 6 through which the latch l1 operates. The outer end of the socket-engaging portion is preferably reduced to facilitate entrance of the stud into the socket and thewall Fig.
