This invention relates particularly to a cabinet adapted to be placed uponthe counter of ahardware store, for example, and to serve as a means for displaying kitchen utensils or the like.

The primary object of the invention is to provide an improved cabinet of the character mentioned which is of separate construction and whichcanreadily be formed into a compact package for shipping purposes, together with an assortment of goods which the cabinet is adapted to display. 7 Q

In this position, the arms 7. embrace the outer sides of the end walls 1 of the base A, the free end of the standard resting upon a cross plate which forms the front foot of the base.

lVhat I regard as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is:

1. A display cabinet of the character described comprising a base, a supporting standard pivoted to the rear portion of said base and adapted to fold forwardly into the plane of the base, and means for suspending articles from said supporting standard, said means comprising a series of forwardly extending bracket members demou'ntably secured to said standard. f I 7 2A display cabinet of'the character describedcomprising a base provided with a display platehaving means for holding articles being displayed, a supporting standard secured to the rearportion of said base and adapted to fold forwardly into the plane of the-base, said standard including a pair of vertical arms with a cross bar interposed therebetween, and means for suspending display articles from said supporting standard,
