IMPROVEMENT IN COMBINED FUNNELS AND MEASURES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 178,697, dated June 13, 1876; application filed February 21, 1876.
To all whom it may concern: I
Be it known that I, FRANK'H. WINSTON, of Evansville, Rock county, Wisconsin, have invented a new and Improved Combined Funnel and Measure, of which the following is a specification:
The invention consists in the crooked stopper-rod and transverse rod, by which the stopper may be held whilethe liquid is running from the measure.
Figure 1 is a sectional elevation of my combined funnel and measure, taken on line a: 00, Fig. 2, and Fig. 2 is a top View.
A is the funnel, which is provided with a stopper, B, by which to retain the liquid drawn into it, the stopper having a handle, E, extending up to the top, by which to pull it out when the liquor is to be run off. F represents legs of wire for the funnel to stand on. when drawing and measuring the liquor, and G represents rings formed in the shell of the funnel to mark the different levelsfor different quantities.
