As a new articleL of manufacture, a booklet comprising a plurality of 'leaves vformed from single sheets folded upon themselves, the leaves being secured together by aline of sewing extending'along the Jfold of .the booklet andthe holes made by the sewing providing a line offclose perforations which facilitates yready separation of the leaves by tearing along the', line of sewing, said line .of sewing constituting the sole means for securing thel leaves together, each sheet being provided with openings at opposite sides of the lineV of sewing adapted for 'Y Yreception of securing elements of a binder for binding together all of the sheets as a unit after tearing apart thereof `and in at- Vwise relation, all of the leaves being otherc wise free from yperforations or openings which would tend to yweaken them.
