Referring to the drawing: Figure 1 is a plan view of a device constructed in accordance with the invention.
' Figure 2 is a side elevational view thereof.
Figure'3 is a sectional view taken on line 33 of Figure 1.' Referring to the drawing in detail, the device includes a base or body portion 5 which is in the form of a tray for the reception of ashes. I
The tray 5 is formed with flanges 6 and 7 respectively, which flanges are provided with openings, the opening in the flange 6 being designed to receive a suitable securing nail or of sheet metal and is slightly larger than the size of the usual cigarette package, so that a package of cigarettes may be readily I and easily positioned therein. The sides of the package holder are cut away defining inclined edges 12 to provide clearances for the front wall 13 of the cigarette package holder, the upper edge of the front wall being curved outwardly as at 14, so that a package of cigarettes may be guided into the package holder.
Owing tot-he fact that the package holder is constructed of sheet metal, the front wall 13 thereof may be bent towards the rear wall, with the result that'packages of various sizes may be held within the holder.
