IMPROVEMENT lN SIGNS FOR STREET-LAMPS.

- To all whom it may concern which the following is a specification, the
annexed drawings being a part of the same.
Figure I is a sectional elevation of a lamp with signs attached. Fig. II is a perspective signs are attached; showing the latter in dotted lines, and Fig. III is an elevation, showing one mode of fastening the sign-frame to the lampframe.
Thesame letters are employed in all the figures in the indication of the same parts.
The form of lamp shown in the drawings has no relation to my invention, which may be attached to any form of lamps, and is not limited to form.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent as an improvement in the mode of attaching street-signs to street-lamps, is
1. In combination with the body of a streetlampa frameof metal and glass inclosing the body of the lamp and independently supported, for the purpose of indicating. the names of the street, substantially as set forth. 2. In combination with the independent wire frame A, inclosing the body of the lamp, the bent wires B, and pockets 0, and glass plates D, substantially as set forth.
3. In combination with the frame and sign plate inclosing the body of the lamp, the pockets 0 adjustablv attached to the frame,
