This invention relates to new and useful improvements in stove inclosures, and more particularly to a device of thls character which is especially adapted for use in con- 6 nection with cooking stoves. One of'the objects of my invention is the provision of an inclosure which will inclose the upper part of a cook stove with the front portion open, so that access may be easily obtained to the grates and ovens.

Another object of my invention is the provision of a device of the above character which is provided with a supporting frame of special structure for the purpose of sup- 1 porting the inclosure in its proper position relative to the stove, whereby the inclosure will be extremely useful in conveying the undesirable odors arising from cooking, off to any desired place. i A further object of the device is. the provision of a structure which can be readily connected to an outside draft and so disposed relative the cooking grates as to create a draft over the cooking grates and convey the steam, smoke and cooking odors to the outside and prevent them from escaping into the room in which the stove is located.

With the above and other objects in view, the invention consists in the novel feaso tures of construction, the combination and arrangement of artshereinafter more fully set forth, pointed out in the claim and shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a front elevation of my device illustrating its application,

For the purpose of properly illustrating my invention, it will be note that I have shown a cook stove 1 in the body of the inclosure 2. In order to properly support the body and dome, a frame 11 is provided, which comprises the legs 12, end pieces 13 and longitu d-inal piece 141, which connect the legs and are suitably braced by means of the diagonal brace members 15. The upper ends of the which inturned flanges on the body are bolted, so as to securely retain the body in place on the frame.

Suspended from the front edge of the part 3 is a swinging guard plate 16, which when in use is suspended from the part3, as shown in full lines in Figure 1, and, whennot in use, is moved to rest in an inclined position against the part 3, as shown in dotted lines in Figure 1.
