This invention relates to a foldable or collapsible bed, andmore particularly to a construction of bed that may be placed within an automobile so that the occupants may sleep within the car without in any way being subject to inconvenience.

An object of the invention is a construction 7 that can be neatly and substantially supported upon the seats of an automobile and in such 1 a" manner that entrance and exit from the car is not interfered with. I
