IMPROVEMENT IN DlSGUlSING-SIRUPS FORMEDICINES Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 1 71,848, dated January 4, 1876; application filed J annary 16, 11575.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, ROBERT S. PEYToN, of Pinckneyville, in the county 'of Perry and State of Illinois, have invented a new and valuable 1m provement in Disguising-Sirups; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same.
The object of my invention is to obtain a sir-up which will serve 'as a vehicle for disguising nauseous medicinessueh, for instance, as caster-oil, cod-liver oil, quinine, cinchona sulphate, turpentine, and fluid and solid extracts.
The formula is as t'ollows: Simple sirup, four ounces; glycerine, two ounces; oil of winter-green, one dram. Instead of wintergreen any of the flavoring-oils maybe used.
