The present invention relates to improvements in display devices, and has foran ob-' ject to provide a device for the display of price cards, tags and the like in which the de-- vice is constructed either for mounting upon a shelf or other support, or upon'a counter, in a store window, or upon other fiat support.

Figure 4 shows a device with a price card 39 in placebetween the flanges'35- and 36. This card, in this instance, is of a height to be received slidably betweentheflanges, but may be much wider than the holder and this is permissible because of the lack or" any stops or abutments for the card. The card is shown in Figure 5 in section as fitting tightly within the guideways, although freedoin of movement is permitted in sliding horizontally.

In Figures 6 to 10, inclusive, the upper-edge '40 of the cut out portion of the panel is rounded and as shown in Figure 10, the rear or free edge of theupper clamp member 31 is likewise rounded. The clamp members are the same in this form of the invention, butin addition a hanger strip 42 is shownas formed 5 with the upper portion ofthe panel and as bent backwardly so that it may engage with a shelf indicated at 44, or with a head 43 on a "shelf. The hanger strip 42 and the upper flange 35 may be formed together by stamp ing thefla-nge 35- out of the hanger strip-42 and bending the two in opposite directions.

Figure 22 shows a device s1m1lar to Figures 19 and 20 except-that in Figure 22 an upper flange 57 is stamped out and bent down from the panel of the device. The device shown in Figure 22 may be held in an inverted position on a shelf and a card may be held in place by that it 18 placed outwardly ofthe upperfiange the side clips 50 and 51 and supported by the flange 57. Figures 25 to 29, inclusive, show a device also smaller to that shown 111 Figure 22 with similar parts bearing the same reference symbols. An additional supporting foot 58 is shown as provided in the forms illustrated in Figures to 29. This supporting foot extends forwardly and in combination with the rear clamping member 32 provides a firm and strong base. The foot 58 is stamped and bent from the material of the lower clamp member 32 and the lower flange 36 is in turn stamped out of the foot 58 andbent upwardly.

Figure is a view similar to Figure 1 but with the hanger member 52 of Figures 19 and 20 applied thereto.

It is obvious that various changes and modifications may be made in the details of eonstruction and design of the above specifically described embodiment of this invention without departing from the spirit thereof.

1. A display device comprising a panel, clamp members extending rearwardly from the lower portion of the panel, a foot member stamped from the material of the lower clamp member and bent forwardly of the plane'of the panel, a lower flange stamped from the ber stamped from the material of said first T named member and bent to the opposite side of the plane of the panel toalso engage the support, and a card holding means stamped from the material of the foot member and,

bent upwardly therefrom.

3. A display device comprising a panel, ai claw bent rearwardlyfrom the upper portion of the panel, a member bent from the lower portion of the panel and adapted to engage a supporting surface, a foot member stamped from the material of the last mentioned member and bent forwardly of the plane of the panel, and a card holding means stamped from the material of the foot and bent upwardly therefrom.
