IMPROVEMENT IN KITCHEN-TABLESL Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 168,288, dated September 28, 1875 application filed July 9, 1875.

Toall whom it may concern Be it known that I, JOHN G. RIoKETTs, of Denver, in the county of Arapahoe and Territory of Colorado, have invented a new and Improved article of Kitchen Furniture; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full and exact description of the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification.

My invention relates to that class of tables which are adapted to kitchen use; and the nature thereof consists in certain improvements in the construction of the same, and novel parts, hereinafter shown and described.

In the accompanying plate of drawings, in which corresponding parts are designated by the same. letters, Figure 1 is an end elevation, showing the leaves raised. Fig. 2 is anend elevation, showing the leaves lowered.

In said drawings, A designates the top of the table, which is hinged to the block 0, ar-

ranged longitudinally beneath said top, and rigidly attached to the sides of the table. The leaves D are also hinged to the said blocks 0 in such a manner that with facility they may be made to assume the horizontal position shown in Fig. 1, or the vertical position illustrated in Fig. 2. D designates hinged brackets, which are swung outward in such a manner as to support the said leaves, as is shown in Fig. 1.

I claim- The combination of the blocks O, arranged longitudinally beneath the top, and rigidly attached to the sides of the table, the leaves D, hinged to the blocks 0, the hinged brackets D, and the cover A, hinged to the blocks 0, as and for the purposes described.
