My invention relates to memorandum pad devices and refers particularly to devices of i sheets can be transferred from the top of the pad to the bottom thereof, the plurality of sheets being retained in locked position Wlth respect to each during the process of sheet transference. f
There are evident advantages in a device ofthe described description among which are the abilityto use: both sides of the sheet for memorandum purposes, the impossibility of the sheets becoming disarranged, the re tention of a used sheet for future reference,
the presentation of an unused top sheet and the possibility of'removing any particular sheet for reference purposes. I
Among the advantages of the device of my invention are ease of insertion of a new pad, the possibility of reversing the entire pad when one side of each sheet has served its purpose, the stability of the device and V the ease of packing the sheets properly upon each other to form an attractive and useful memorandum pad.

In the modification of my device shown in Figures 3, 4 and 5, the frame 19 1s riveted to the back 1 L by means of-the two rivets 26, 26,and a loose clip 9.7, 28,29 is slipped over the loose end of the pad of paper sheets,
I the cut-out, or recess being eliminated.
The clip'serves ,to keep the plurality of sheets in edge alignment. The operation of this device is similar to that described above, except, as shown in Figure 9, the sheet 20 ,isinsertedbehind 'therlip to retain it in position.
In the modification of the frame shown 7 V in Figure 7, the member 27 integral with the frame serves the samepurpose as the member 27 of the clip shown inFigure 5.
Figure 6 illustrates a pad of sheets of paper 20, capable of being inserted in the frame 19 and having the holes 30, 30 for the insertion of the binding, or connectinglmks 21, 22. The paper strips .31, 31 retain the plurality of sheets in proper condition and position with respect to each other.
When the pad of paper sheets has served its purpose, the links 21, 22 are opened the pad removed from. the frame 19, and a new pad is introduced and the links inserted.
Figure 11 illustrates a modified form of 7 frame 19, inwhich'the top and bottom edges 32, 32 are turned overuponthemselves to form astrenghtenmg means for the frame,
thus allowing of thinner material for its formation.
It is evident that the cover 16 may be omitted without interfering with the device of my invention, and that the holes 30, 30 may vary in number and position within the paper sheets.
I It will be seen from the above that a pad of paper sheets, such as shown in Figure 6 can bereadily placed within the frame 19 and attached thereto by the links 21, 22.
That when so positioned, the upper exposed .sheet after service may be placed at the bottom'of the pad thus exposing the next successive sheet. NVhen all of the sheets of the pad have been used, the pad'mlay be taken from the frame and re-placed therein in reversed position, thus exposing the unused sides of the sheets for service.
The sides ofthe frame 19 are of a material possessing sufiicient rigidity to support the pad during the transference of a sheet of paper from the top to the bottom of the pad, and it istomaterial having such char the base and hingedly carried thereby, a rigid frame carried by the perpendicular member capable of extending around the edges of a plurality of paper sheets and a plurality of separable rings capable of passingthrough a plurality of holes in the paper sheets within the frame.
