This invention relates` to a mount which j includes a holder and a penetrable iilleroi material such as wax, supported by the holder,and having a face adapted tobe penetrated hy pins project-ing iironi the posterior faces of teeth, the material of the filler ad-j hering tov pins inserted therein. sovthat the teeth are adequately secured to themount and readily removable therefrom. l

The chief object of the invention is to provide a mount, the holder element of which is of sheet material such as aluminum, and is adapted to firmly support the penetrable filler and teeth engaged therewith, said h-older element being light and durable, neat. and attractive in appearance, and adapted to be manufactured at a minimum expense.

Another object is to enable the holder and the pe-netrable body iiller to enter a tooth recess formed in part-.by the posterior face lfrom which the pins project.

The holder element includes a body portion 12 and flange portions atropposite edges of an opening 15 in the body portion, the holder being preferably made from a single sheet of aluminum. . The holder shown by Figures 5 to 8, includes a body portion 12 and two oppositely inclined flange portions 20, projecting inward from the body portion at opposite edges of the opening 15 therein. The filler here designated by 16? bears on the flange portions 20, and has a face which is exposed at the outer side of the holder and is substantially flush therewith. In this embodiment of the invention, the seat vfor the posterior face 18EL of the tooth is formed collectively by the body portion 12, and the eX- posed face of the filler 16a as shown by Figure 8.

I claim:

l. A inount for artilieial teeth, comprising a holder of sheet material, including a body portion and outwardly projecting flange portions at opposite sides of an opening in the body portion, one of said flange portions being perpendicular and the other inclined relative to the body portion, and a penetrable llerclosing the opening and bearing on the flange portions, and having an exposed face which is penetrable by a pin projecting from the posterior `face of a tooth, the exposed face of the iller and the flange portions collectively forming a seat which is inclined relative to the `body portion and is adapted to lenter a. tooth recess formed in part by said posterior face.

2. A mount for artilicial teeth comprising a holder olf' sheet material including` a body portion provided at opposite edges with supports, and having outwardly projecting flange portions at opposite sides oi' an opening formed in the body portion, one o1 said flange portions being perpendicular and the other inclined relative to the body portion, and a penetrable liller closing the opening and beari on the flange portions, and having an expossd tace which is penetrable by a pin projecting from the posterior face of a tooth, the exposed face of the iiller and tlange portions"collectively forming a seat which is inclined relative to the body portion, and is adapted to enter a tooth recess iiorined in part by said posterior iace.
