IMPROVEMENT IN SAFETY ATTACHMENTS FOR POCKET-BOOKS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 165.864, dated July 20, 1875; application filed May 22, 1875.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, THADDEUS POTTER, of Jackson, Hinds county, Mississippi, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Safety-Guards for Pocket-Books, of which the following is a specification:
The invention will first be described in connection with drawing, and then pointed out in the claim.
Figure l is a perspective view of a pocketbook with my improved attachment. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section on the line a; m, Fig. l; and Fig. 3 is a cross-section of the attachment on the line y y.

A is a plate of sheet metal, with the edges B rolled up to form a groove or Way for the spring-slide G to move up and down in.
