I claim:
l. The combination With a drillfhaving a cylinder, front and back heads, and side bolts maintaining said parts in assembled relation, of a member spanning-saidcylinder and slidably mounted upon said bolts,
means for manually supporting the drill detachably secured to said member, and means yieldingly resisting movementof said member in at least one direction.
2. The combination With a drill havin a cylinder, front and back heads, and side bolts maintaining said parts in assembled relation, of a member spanning said cylin- .der and slidably mounted upon said bolts,
means for manually supporting the drill detachably secured to said member, and springs for yieldingly resisting movement of said member.
3. The combination with a drill having a cylinder, front and back heads, and side bolts maintaining said parts in assembled relation, of a member spanning said cylinder and slidably mounted upon said bolts, means for manually supporting the drill detachably secured to said member, and coil springs encircling said bolts for yieldingly resisting movement of said member in at least one direction.
4. The combination With a drill having a cylinder, front and back heads, and s1de bolts maintaining said parts in assembled relation. of a member spanning said cylinder and shdably mounted upon said bolts, a handle device secured to said member, guide means for said device at the rear of said drill, and means yieldingly resisting movement of said handle device in at least one cylinder, front and back heads, and side bolts maintaining said parts in assembled relation, of a member spanning said cylinder and slidably mounted upon said bolts, aihandle device comprising a grip part and rods extending therefrom, means securing the free ends of said handle rods to said 7 member, a yoke member secured to the back head of the drill providing guide openings for said handle rods, and coil springs engaging opposite sides of said first-named member yieldingly to resist movement of the same and of the handle device. v

The combination with a drill having a cylinder, front and back heads, and side bolts maintaining said parts in assembled relation, of a member spanning said cylinder and slidably mounted upon said bolts, a handle device comprising a grip part and rods extending therefrom, means securin the free ends of said handle rods to sai member,.a yoke member clamped against said back head by said bolts and havin guide openings for. said handle rods, sai
members being arranged to dispose said hans dle rods in substantial parallelism With said side bolts, and means for limiting movement of said handle device relative to the drill and for yieldingly resisting such movement.

The combination With a drill having a cylinder, front and back heads, and side bolts maintaining said parts in assembled relation, of a member spanning said cylin-- der and slidably mounted upon said'bolts, a handle device comprising a grip part and rods extending therefrom, means securing the free ends of said handle rods to said member, a yoke member clamped againstsaid back head by said bolts and having guide openings for said handle rods, said members being arranged to dispose said handle rods substantially in the plane of said side bolts, and means for limiting the axial movement of the handle device relative to the drill and for cushioning such movement comprising coil springs encircling said bolts and engaging opposite sides of said first named member.
9. The, combination with a drill having a cylinder, front and back heads, and side bolts maintaining said parts in assembled relation, members engagmgsaid side bolts at spaced points, one of said members having a fixedpossition and the other beingslidable on said bolts, a handle device fastened to.
