This invention is for a mechanical toy, andLmore particularly a target forjuse in connection with shooting gaines.

In the top of the upright is a pin 7 on which is carried a freely rotatable disk 8 forming the target. In the periphery of the disk are two or more notches 9. Mounted on the base 5 are upright ears 10 to which is pivoted a bell crank member by means of a pin 11. The bell crank member has a horizontal arm 12 with A"! a terminal portion 13 adapted to be entered in one of the notches 9 in the periphery of the disk. The upright arm of the bell crank is designated 14: and has a bulls eye atits upper end, the bulls eye preferably being centrally located with respect to the disk 8.

\Vhile one form of the invention has been specifically illustrated and described in detail, it Will be understood that various changes and modifications may be made in the construction and arrangement of the various parts within the contemplation of my invention and under the scope of the following claims.

I claim 1 A toy target including a freely rotatable member, means for spinning the rotatable member, a detent'cooperating with the rotatable memberv for normally holdingthe disk against rotation, and a movable target element operatively connected with thedetent.

2. A toy target comprising a freely rotatable disk, means for spinning the disk, a movable detent element co-operating with the disk for normallyholding it against r0- tation, and'atarget member carried by the detent.

3. A toy target comprising a freely rotatable disk, means for spinning the disk,

4. A toy target comprising a freely rotatable disk, means, for spinning the disk, a pivotally supported detent member having a terminal cooperating with the disk for normally holding the disk against rotation, and an arm on the detent extending upwardly in front of the disk and having a bu lls eye thereon centrally positioned with respect to the disk.

5. A toy target comprising a base, an upright on the base, a disk pivotally supported on the upright, a bell crank member pivotally supported on the base having a horizontal arm adapted to co-operate with the diskand having a vertical arm wlth a target element thereon, andresilient means secured to the base adapted to detachably engage the disk for spinning the same.

A toy target including a supporting frame with a base portion, a disk freely rotatable on the supporting frame and having a plurality ofdetent engaging elements about the periphery thereof, a bell crank member pivotally mounted on the base having a horizontal arm with a terminal adapted to cooperate with the detent engaging means on the disk, said bell crank having a vertical arm with a bulls eye thereon, and a resilient member secured to the frame having one end detaohably engaging one of the detent engaging means of the disk; 7

A toy target comprising a supporting frame having a base, a disk freely rotatable on the supporting frame, a resilient member secured to the supporting frame having one end thereof detachably engaging the disk for imparting a rotative movement to the disk when the same is released, a detent member on the base for normally holding the disk against rotation, and a target element connected with the detent.

A toy target comprising a supporting frame, a disk freely rotatable on the sup-. porting frame, said disk having its surface divided into a plurality of sections, said diskhaving letent engaging means thereon, game indicia in at least'some of the sections, a movable detent member adapted to cooperate with the detent engaging means of the disk fornormally'holding the diskv against rotation, a target element carried by the detent member and resilient means for rotating the disk. I

A toy target comprising a supporting frame having a base portion and an upright portion, a disk freely rotatable on the upright portion, said disk having notches in the periphery thereof, a leverv pivotally mounted on the base portion having a terminal adapted to be entered in one of the notches in the disk, an upright arm on the lever member with a target surface thereon, a resilient member secured to the frame and having its free end entered into the other notch in the disk, said resilient member pro viding means for rotating the disk when the notch engaging lever is moved to released position by the impact of a projectile against the target.
