This relation relates vto bill olds'and an improved method of making the same, and `has for its primary object to provide ya new method fof assen'ibling"l and connecting the partis of the bill fold whereby v sucl'i operations Vmay be expeditiously perforni'ed, and the neat appearance of the bill fold, even after long use thereof, will be preserved.

In other`words, the depth of the pocket is not limited by the line of vstitching connecting Vthe inner and outer lwalls so that when' saidwalls are doubled or folded, thevifold lines or creases thereby formed will be uninterrupted or unbroken across the entire Width of the bill fold.

It is also a further general object .of theinvention to provide a leather bill fold ha`ving certain novel structural features Whereby the manufacturing cost4 may be appreciably reduced andthe .durability and general utility of the article'increased.

inwardly around the corresponding longitudinal edge of the inner Wall and connected with seid wall .in spaced relation to the extreme longitudinal edge thereof by a line ofy stitching extending through said inner Well; and the turned over edge of the outer Wall and also Securing the lining upon the inner Wall to thereby provide e freely flexing edge portion of said outer Wall enclosing the corresponding edge of the inner Wall and forming the closed lower edge of the bill receiving pocket having a dept-h substantially equivalent to the Width of said inner Wall, and the opposite end edges of said outer Wall being inwardly turned over the corresponding end edges of the 'inner Wall and permanently secured thereto to close the opposite ends of the bill fold pocket.
