The present invention relates to concrete forms, and aims to provide improvements in forms used for molding curbs, curbs and gutters, walls, sidewalks, and the like, this invention being an improvement over the types of concrete forms disclosed in my copending applications Serial Nos. 17,211, 66,806 and 79,656, filed March 21, 1925, November 4, 1925, and January 6, 1926, respectively. j Another object is the provision of a concrete rform of the kind indicated comprising a novel arrangement and assembly of the component elements whereby the device is practical and efficient in use, and adjustable for different conditions.
A further object is the provision of a novel connection between the adjacent ends of alining side rails or form members pei'- mitting the form to be built vto any length desired with the rails or rail sections connected together end to end, and the connections permitting the rails to be readilyV assembled, adjusted and separated. v
A still further object is the provision o'f .such a structure by means of which the siderails or form members may be adjusted vertically and transversely, and may be positioned to either vertical or transversely inclined positions, to suit various requirements `and conditions.
Still another object is the provision of a form structure of the kind indicated wherein none of' the parts, excepting a division plate lif' used, are disposed between the adjacent ends of the rails'of forni members, and the supporting or bracing means being capable of use at intermediate portions of the rails as well as at the ends thereof.
With the foregoing and other objects in v" ew, which will be apparent as the description proceeds, the invention resides in the construction and arrangement of parts, as hereinafter described and claimed, it being understood that changes can be made'within the scope of what is claimed, without departing from the spirit of the invention.

The limbs of the yoke carry adjustable brackets or braces for connecting the rails with and bracing them from the yoke. The outer limb or bar 36 of the yoke has two pairs of brackets 42, which may be conveniently constructed from angle iron stock, and ysaid brackets have the flanges 43 extending' across and bearing against the opposite sides of the bar 36. The flanges 43 are cut off so as not to extend to or across the flanges of the rails 20, and bolts 44 or other securing elements extend through vertical slots 45 in the bar 36 land horizontal slots 46 in the flanges 43 to clamp the brackets to said bar 36. When the bolts 44 are loosened the brackets 42'may be adjusted vertically as well as horizontally in order to accommodate therails 2O which may be of different` heights and spaced different distances from the bar or limb 36 of the yoke. Means are rovided for connecting the rails 20 with the brackets or braces 42 and for anchoring the rails to the ground or sub-base. Thus, the
- brackets 42 have series of apertures 47 for the passage of stakes or rods 48 that pass downwardly through apertures 49 in the flanges 22and 24 of the rails 2O and into the ground. The upper brackets 42 extend over and overlap the upper flanges 22, while the lower brackets 42 extend across the flanges 25, and when the stakes or rods 48 are inserted downwardly'through the brackets and rail flanges the railends are connected together and` maintained in alinement, the bolts 44 being tightened after proper adjustments have been made. The brackets 42 rigidlyconnectthe rails with the outer limb or bar 36 of the yoke.
Pairs of brackets or braces 50 are also carf ried by the inner limb or bar 37 of the yoke, and may be made from angle iron stock, there being three pairs of brackets 5() as shown. The brackets 50 have flanges 5l eX- tending across and bearing against the opposite sides of the bar 37' and bolts 52 or other securing elements extend through vertical slots 53 in the bar 37 and horizontal slots 54.

in the flanges 51, for clamping said brackets to said bar, the brackets being adjustable vertically and horizontally when the bolts are loosened. The brackets 50 have apertures 55 to` receive the stakes or rods 56 that are inserted downwardly-through apertures 57 in the flanges 28. 30, 32 and 34, to connect the rail ends with the inner limb of the yoke.
The flanges 51 of the brackets have notches 58 to engage or receive the secondary flanges or lips of the rails 26 and 27. As shown, the upper pair of brackets 50 extend under the flanges 32 and the notches 58 receive the flanges 33; the intermediate pairv of brackets 50 extend under the flanges 28 and their notches 58 receive the flanges 29, while the lower brackets 50 are inverted with reference to the other brackets and extend over the fianges 31 and have their notches 58 engaging the flanges 31.
The upper brackets 50 have hangers 59 eX- tending' upwardly from the flanges 51 and secured by a bolt or other clamping eley ment to the opposite sides of the bar 38', the hangers 59 having apertures 61 to receive the bolt 60 and the bolt 60 beingr engageable in ets 50 which engage'under the flanges 32 provide hooks at the lower ends of the hangers 59 to suspend the raiis 27 from the yoke'.
It will be obvious that when the bolts 44 and 52 are loosened and the bolt 60'removed, the brackets 42 and 50 may be adjusted vertically and toward and away from one an- 'i other in order to accommodate rails of different heights and in different vertical positions, with the rails spaced*apart'different distances. rangedv above or below the corresponding fianges of the rails and other adjustments made for different conditions. The brackets or braces connect the rail ends with the yoke or arch, to hold the rails in alinement, and the ends of the rails are spaced apart the same as the brackets of the several pairs, in order that a division plate 62 may be inserted between the rail ends, for dividing the curb. The bars 38, 39 and 41 are preferably located at one side of the bars 36and 37 in order that the division plate 62 may be readily moved downwardly between and upwardly from the rails. The yoke and bracing structure may be used at intermediate portions of the rails as well as at the ends thereof, will be apparent, when it is desired to brace the intermediate portions of the rails, such as when tbe aggregate, especially when tamped, h as a tendency tospring or bow the rails apart.
The rails may be individually adjusted transversely. As shown in Fig. l the rail 20 is disposed vertically, and the rails 26 and 27 are disposed vertically'in the same plane. for producing ar curb having its opposite sides vertical. as seen in Fi 7. One side or wall of the form may be inclined, by inclining the corresponding limb of the yoke, for producing a battered curb, as seen in Fig. 8, or both The brackets may also be arf walls may be inclined to produce a double battered curb, as seen in Fig. 9. As shown in Fig. 2, the face rails vmay be inclined toward the outer or 4back rails 20, lto produce a curb with a battered face, as seen in Fig. l0. Fig. 2 shows the rails 27 tilted toward the outer rails 20, with the stakes or rods 56 engaging through apertures 55 in theupper brackets 50 beyond the flanges 32 and The face rails 27 may even be adjusted bodi- 4ly toward the rails 2O -so that the stakes or rods 56 do not engage through either of the upper or lower flanges of said rails, whereby said rails are supported and held in position by the brackets.
Fig. ll illustrates a special formembodying the improvements for producing a curb having longitudinal grooves or recesses in the opposite sides. rIhe form has 'the opposite walls composed of the upper rails 63,
intermediate rails 64 and lower rails 65, with the intermediate rails 64 offset toward one another to produce grooves or recesses inthe curb. Fig. l2 illustrates another special 4curb which may be made bythe type of form shown in Fig.' 11.
Fig. 5 illustrates the use of hangers 59l connected'by the bolts 60 with the bar 38 'of the yoke, and having hooks 58il at their lower ends to engage under `the upper depending flanges of vthe rails. These hangers 59a may be used in lieu of the upper brackets 42 and'O to suspend the rails directly from the yoke.

lVith the present construction, vthe rails may not only be adjusted vertically and transversely when setting up the form, but may also be readily removed from the completed curb. Furthermore, when `the concrete has partially set, the face rails 27 may be released by removing the stakes or rods 56 and detaching the upper brackets 50, so that the face of thecurb may be finished by suitable tools, it being noted that the top of the curb may bey readily finished under the bar 38 of the yoke. Vith the present construction the rail ends are plain and unencumbered, and it is only necessary to provide one or'more apertures in the end portions of the upper andlower flanges of the` rails.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is l. In a device of the character described, a yoke adapted to be disposed yastride form members disposed end to end, and means for connecting the yoke with the adjacent ends of said form members.

46. A concrete form comprising superposed form members, a supporting member, brackets adjustably connected with the supporting member and having a series off apertures, said form members having apertures, and a rod engageable through said apersignature.
